My dad is a recently retired cop, and like many recent retirees is looking for ways to supplement his income/kill time. He got the idea a couple years ago to breed police dogs as a way to do both. He got a couple top of the line dogs 2 or 3 years ago, and bred them over the last winter. 9 puppies were born in late March, and he has been able to sell six of them in the last couple months. These dogs will make great companions, guard dogs, or working dogs.

These are definitely not puppy mill pups. My dad lives in rural northern California with plenty of room. The dogs are well cared for, shots current, dew claws are removed.

I am not making any money here, this is for the old man. My motivation for posting in the marketplace is that if he doesn't sell them all, I'm getting stuck with a puppy that I really don't want right now - I want to take a male next spring.

I also followed all of the rules with the possible exception of not using the forum for my own commercial enterprise. This is not my commercial enterprise however, and the only thing I stand to gain is not having to take a puppy into my home (family dynamics stuff/inability to say no).

If a mod feels that this thread is inappropriate please lock/delete.

An odd question to be sure, and one there is no need to ask, as the software won't allow anyone to post a new thread if they don't have permission.

Yeah, I gave that some thought. Assuming this is a one-time deal, and isn't going to be bumped when he gets more dogs, I'll allow it for the time being. If it causes problems this could be revisited.

Do these dogs have any titles, Show or Schutzhund?

I know little about the specifics of dog pedigrees or titles. I'll PM the website my dad has about the pups, and his contact info is there. I'm sure he can answer the specifics.

Even if they aren't pics of your dads dogs, I only opened this thread for cute puppy pics and I am sorely disappointed.

Also, as a mod I see nothing wrong with this thread other than some information (ie. shipping info) that is missing from the OP. The subject matter is fine imo.
