cant you just sell to the bank? or a gold dealer in ur area?

my parents are pretty old skool and when they decide to invest in gold they actually buy these gold bars...i think they buy and sell with the bank....

Selling to a dealer will involve a pretty substantial cut (those guys gotta make money too).

You can buy these from any reputable dealer on teh intarwebs (I have used coloradogold.com), though you will pay a premium, especially if you want just one. Many dealers won't do orders under 5 oz.

These bars are really good deals, they have a lower premium than coins.

well it depends slightly on the price of gold that day but like i said you can buy this for $1025 online when i checked last night. i'd take $1020! gold when up a hair today too.

i'd love to hold onto it but i need some liquid cash at the moment. i have more gold in the form of coins also, not for sale though.

Buying a single oz bar you'd be looknig at more like 1050-1090 right now.

I usually check nwtmint.com for stuff. they are local for me, but they ship for free.
