Just to be clear, I'm not currently in Thailand but am still doing most of the management for the house remotely through 2p2, emails, and AIM. Thanks primarily to excellent house members, it's gone extremely well thus far.

I've also got the help of John Beans, an ex-member of the house now in a condo of his own. He is on-call in case anything comes up and living just a couple blocks away.

The lease is up at the end of January, so we are still looking for renters between now through the month of January.

I'm not really the one to ask...

The only experience I had with weed over there was when a friend of someone in the house was about to fly out of the country and gave me a "present" he didn't want to fly with. It just sat on my desk til I threw it out.

But I would say although it's definitely more dangerous than in the states, weed is way, way, way safer of buying/using than stimulants (see: Ya Ba).

Quite a few of my friends living permanently in Thailand smoke a lot, often with the son of an ex-chief of police.

Ya Ba looks amazing.

New Prices

Effective immediately, rent for the months of November and December will now cost only 25,000 Baht + util. This is a fantastic deal considering at this price I'm taking a significant loss even if the house is fully booked -- and that required signing a one year lease.

ALSO-- The master bedroom is opening on November 11 with Mark's (hopefully brief) departure. Room assignments work on seniority (of deposit placed), so the next person to book a room for these months will get this awesome room that features a full shower + bath, massive walk-in closet, couch and private flat-screen TV area, and a balcony overlooking the pool.

I'm hoping this will fill up some rooms since its a lot more fun to have a full house of guys and Adam Monroe and I will probably be returning for a few nights in January.

Hopefully we will be returning to meet some of you and have a good time at the Baller House in Bangkok!!!

$25k/mo for this room ($750 usd) is a sick deal. It is probably very difficult to find a decent-standard-hotel with a single room and bed, with standard air and TV that you could rent for month-by-month for this price. This place is already set up, is in a VERY good location, and is obviously a lot more baller.
