For lease: Large loft in San Francisco For lease: Large loft in San Francisco

Disclaimer: I am not the owner / landlord. I am ending the lease on my loft in the next couple of months, and since it is a great space, I wanted to see if anyone in the area might be interested in it. The landlord is actually really nice (she is not a professional landlord) and I thought I could do her a favour by helping find a new tenant. If I find someone flexible about moving in dates, this might be beneficial for me, but other than that I have no need to find a tenant myself. I expect she will put the loft on craigslist in the next few weeks.

The loft is in Soma, and it is really large by SF standards (it is larger than my previous house, at ~1600 sf!). It is located a couple of blocks from the Yerba Buena Lofts, and very close to downtown, the Metreon, SF shopping centre, BART, and falling over distance from 1015 Folsom, Endup, Lulu, Azie and Oola, depending on your mood and taste!

It is designated as 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, but being a loft, it is very open space. The master bedroom area upstairs is actually like a small apartment itself, large and bright. Downstairs is stone tiled, upstairs is concrete. It is not a cookie-cutter loft at all.

Parking for one car included, there are three units in the building, both sets of neighbours are young, quiet professionals who both own their units.

If anyone is serously interested, I would be happy to tell you more details etc by PM, and put you in touch with the landlord. I am paying $3150/month, I cannot say whether that would be the rent for the next tenant or not, but it probably would be. This is competitive with the area, and most places in the price range are much smaller. For example, I looked at a loft in YBL up the street, and it was a couple of hundred less per month, for ~800sf. Landlord required a credit check and bank statements when I applied. Also, no pets.

Pics from when I moved in (please excuse the mess, there are even more packing boxes now!):
