Probably 6-7 months ago I shipped him money on FTP for 100 balls, he never sent them. When I asked him about it he offered to refund my money, but only on Stars. I don't have a Stars name. I don't know what's up with this thread, but I don't necessarily think he has a perfect reputation here.

why isn't he banned?

i did a few transactions w/him last year. the last few got slower & slower forcing me to pm him several times & demand shipment. He did finally come through.

There is about a 30% chance I have his personal info somewhere. I am busy till after the series, but if you don't get it resolved by then I'll see if i can find his contact info for you.

No one brought it to our attention before today. You guys have to make us aware of this sort of thing... there's only two of us and we don't read every thread, especially when made by a reg who's sold a bunch.

Anyway, he's clearly logging on but not responding so he'll probably be banned at some point. In the meantime I'd encourage those affected to post in the feedback thread and for others not to do any business with him.

Side question: You can run out on a golf course and just pilfer up a bunch of golf balls? I live close to a golf course but don't know anything about the game... and no, I'm not snatching any golf balls

You can get balls that end up in the woods, water, roads, etc. People are too lazy or don't want to slow the game down hunting for balls often. I used to catch a subway right next to a golf course and I probably got 2-3 balls a week from guys with monster hooks.

Well gonso to answer your second question...if your friends with the owner I see people out pulling balls from the water and such all the time and even saw scuba gear out once

I prefer to think that your actions define you. As there are now several people coming out of the woodwork with the same story and no communication from RAF to explain himself, I'd say you don't have a leg to stand on.

Coupled with stories from other posters saying that he shipped late or not at all, I'd be more inclined to call him a scammer instead of giving him the benefit of the doubt.

Think about it this way. If you do 10 deals and only rip off 2 of your customers, are you a good guy or just another scammer. From the outside looking in, that seems to be what is going on here. If you want to risk your money with this guy, more power to ya. I'd spend mine elsewhere.

Alright well he's not responding, and we've given him more than enough time. I'm tired of this thread, I'm tired of Risk Astley, I hate the Lions and never really got into golf. Someone please note this in the feedback thread (and include his Stars s/n) and we'll just move on. Sorry to those who lost out.

i'd say just leave him on the site. i doubt hes going to be able to do anything within the site without people calling him out for being a scammer.

i was scammed by him but i dont think you should ban him and eliminate any possibility i have of getting my money back.

i agree with peaches...if hes gonna scam again most likely hell make a different name or what not so leave the name allowed to give us a chance to get our money back atleast..
