1st P&G thread

this years results, probably 90% of my action

A while ago I posted this in a thread, and should still be my approach at things.

"after all this training Ive gotten to know one thing about my self, I like to do things the right way(EXCELLENCY). not that Ive achieved it , but that I try to leave up to it, train towards a goal, create the perfect body for it(why not, EFICIENCY) and that Greatness can be achieved by doing your best every second of your life."

last year I decided to get back into studying poker, looking for a solid gameplan. Understanding it and starting from the bottom seemed best cause main objective is proper execution. Im at the point where I believe I can reach full potential and this thread will be my journey. Long way to go but I believe in work ethic paying off.

The way of the warrior is meant as a manifestation and compromise to live with excellence, If someone has the opportunity to buy the book
http://www.amazon.com/Modern-Bushido...modern+bushido its been a great read on how to improve life at a personal level.

Working on my game and focusing in improving will remain 1st objective and as Bruce Lee use to say "Make at least one definite move daily toward your goal.”

Im at 50nl 6max right now, will start playing 100nl shortly, always aiming higher.
1st plateau is paying off my house.

Working on mental, body and spirit to stay healthy. Currently I have this thread, trying to get to 50 pullups
http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/85...gress-1458785/

And now more than ever believing in Calisthenics as the way to go to attain explosiveness, athletically usable strength, balance, etc. While working the Core and yoga as many times as possible.

Yesterday played 1st session since taking a few days off and was rusty as hell,
http://gyazo.com/9d7757503a3762d00b3e948fbcb03cf3
made lots of mistakes, but by mid sesh started to play better. today worked on a my sizing in a few spots and watched The_end last vid

Pullup challenge is going better, had a patch* where I wasnt being able to complete the reps in one go(had to take brakes to complete each set, feeling tired midway and my body giving up to easily) felt like a mental leak. so when I started this cycle while warming up, takes about 9-12 min, I started picturing every rep of each set, and then once more before each set, so when its time to do them Ive already pictured my self completing them (twice) its hasnt failed

month so far in this computer

missing about 1500 hand where I lost 2bis or so, started playing not great and starting to pick up.
Ive been taking baby steps and while I dont regret it, I think its time to move forward and take bigger chances. gotta trust my progress and the time Ive been putting in studying and the help Ive been getting by my staker(who has been the best thing that ever happened in my poker carreer)

lets fffing go lml

              http://www.amazon.com/Gymnastic-Ring...ymnastic+rings

contacted this people on fb and they charge $1050 for a 3 month coaching program still I feel like this rings will be a nice asset and will probably set them up on the basketball base.

Also thinking of adding a higher pullup bar where I can also set the rings in front of the one I have, think itll be a nice acquisition to the bar set up

                                    couple interesting spots from yesterday

vill is a big fish, leading 14%, but nothing worth noting besides that he sucks

                                    Hero (CO): $62.75 (125.5 bb)
                                    BTN: $50 (100 bb)
                                    SB: $72.11 (144.2 bb)

Preflop: Hero is CO with Q J

                                    BB bets $5, Hero????

if we give him a REALLY nutted range we have 35ish ott, thats puttin in all kind of 2ps, st8s, sets, tps and the nfd in.

so we are obviously doing pretty good and the fact the may still be weak(most likely scenario), that we could put in a small raise to like 13 or 14. downside to this is that it would suck if he shoves, or we could make it 22 or 23 making our odds better for a call. We could also call and realize our eq, but if we hit is gonna hard to get all the money in.

other spot is against a reg

                                    SB: $51.78 (103.6 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with 6 7
CO folds, Hero raises to $1.25, SB folds, BB calls $0.75

                                    Flop: ($2.75) 6 7 Q (2 players)

                                    River: ($16.75) J (2 players)
                                    BB checks, Hero ??

range for calling turn is probably some Ahx with a pair, good Q probably with a h in it and obviously stronger. Doubt he has many Qx without a heart, other question is with our turn sizing do we narrow his range to things we don't need to turn river into a bluff? or should we bet a bit smaller on the turn to increase his calling range?

or does someone fancy a bet on this river?

                                    any input is appreciated

                                    Opinions?

played like **** today, freaking bs, took 2 brakes to settle down and nothing, finally did some pushups and got things going at the end. Still a win is a win but forced my self to play when I was kinda out of it, 6 tabling sucks for volume so Ive been forcing my self to play a bit more,

                                    anyways here are interesting hands

got a bit coolered yesterday and was only able to play 2h cause wasnt able to go to sleep till 4 am on thu, so wasnt really in playing mode

had to fold a lot in my 1st sesh today but things picked up at by the end, refocused on my mental game cause last 2 days and todays 1st sesh (till hand 920)I was a bit involved while playing. MEditated and a bit of "thought feeling and emotion" to regroup and voila

I always say that for things to workout you have to believe in them 1st And I deff believe in the "thought feeling and emotion" mojo* and if youre preparing and studying good things will happen.

Also started to reread the Book MOdern Bushido, "living a life of excellence" from Bohdi Sanders like a bible for the warrior

A lot of the things can be related* to poker, things like mental game, discipline, sincerity(mainly to one self), preparedness, etc, so I highly recommend it if someone wants to step up your "game"
