-Me spewing money around because I have an ego when it comes to poker(yes I can admit it) and I want to see if I still have what it takes to win 4 years later. (Probably not and I will most likely crash and burn so grab the popcorn!)

-Lots of mistakes because a) I'm rusty and B) my game is 4 years old and after browsing some forums and and talking to some old contacts that are still playing today there have been some changes made in postflop play that 4 years ago would have instantly had me tag you as a fish
-Random streaming on twitch of me playing just to keep me motivated to play
-Random musings on how different the game is today compared to 4 years ago when I left

-Former 2+2 account was NL__fool. Can't remember the pw and I don't have access to the email anymore, currently hoping a mod can help me out.
-Former online professional poker player for 10 years and left poker for personal reasons while still winning at a good clip
-Best month ever was 40k about 1 month before black Friday playing Rush on Full Tilt. (Maybe it doesn't mean much anymore because games were easier back then but still my best poker achievement)
-Gonna grind on the side part time to see if I still have it. This is not about money, it's about seeing if I still have it. Chose Bovada because games are softer than Stars and Stars got rid off rakeback????
-played maybe 10k hands in the past 4 years
-Going to aim for 1-2k hands per day

-In anon games, as nitty as it sounds, I'm thinking this can probably be a fold. He doesn't know if I'm a reg or a whale and I don't know if he's a reg or a whale so his shove is only value if he's sane and I have blockers to KK and AK. prob never folding this on Stars at 400+

I don't like telling people how to play but....... never ever ever ever ever ever ever fold KK pre 100bb deep 6max cash (unless there are like 3 all ins in front of you) particularly once you have 1/4 of your stack in.

never fold kings....even when they show you the aces...

I realize the comment of folding KK would make people go "HUH? WTF is this guy thinking?" because even against a range of KK+ & AK It's a huge mistake but I was thinking this is one of those terribly exploitable plays that would appear to be absolutely horrendous to even consider but that I may need to consider them on the anon tables? It may appear to be results orientated but it's more a function of overcompensating and overthinking my play for the tables because they are anon. This is basically never a fold on regular tables

I mean I'm definitely going to be changing my play style somewhat to compensate for the fact that everyone is an unknown but perhaps I am considering over adjusting to far if that makes any sense?

This would definitely be too much of an over adjust. Take this from someone who has changed their strategy a lot and is still telling you to never fold KK pre in pool.

Perfect thanks! I figured I would be over and under adjusting until I found the right balance. I was always a stat junkie and had extremely in depth huds

Nothing much to report except I played another 1k hands. I keep reading about how some of you guys are getting over 400 hands per hour in the zone games 2 tabling but I'm not getting anywhere close to that. I'm probably averaging about 330k hands/hour and I'm not exactly slow either.

Going to get this twitch thing going today or tomorrow. I'll play for a bit and take a break and try and figure it out in between sessions.

It's also nice (I think?) to see that some things never change. The biggest sign that I was tilting back when I was playing for a living was calling 4 bets OOP with hands I shouldn't be, and I caught myself doing that last night. Immediately sat out and took a break when I saw myself doing it.

These 3 hands with in about 2 minutes of each other caused me to start to tilt.

I'm getting attacked on a board where my range is stronger than his but if I fold this I'm super exploitable. From a GTO perspective I have to call here a certain % of the time so I call and get the worst possible turn card. Fish ovebet jams Turn and I snap thinking my hand is good because there is no need to jam turn here with anything strong

Only managed to play for an hour today. I won about $150, will update once I get the HH downloaded

OK.... So apparently I just discovered something new (to me anyway)
I can play zone on my Ipad. This is fantastic news and maybe makes me a life fish?? lol

It means I can get more hands in. Due to the nature of my business I currently work 6 months of the year and take 6 months off but in those 6 months that I am working I am putting in 80-90 hour weeks.

It basically means that in my downtime at work my staff can take over and I can go sit in my office and play poker.

Perhaps I might get some decent volume in after all. Is there anyway to play 2 zone tables on the Ipad at once or is it just restricted to one? Any idea of how much data it uses? I might have to upgrade my data plan

I believe it's just one. I don't think the data is too high. I use to do this on my phone at work when I was working night shift.
