Seems my calculations were abit off. I dont need 480 hours but instead roughly 360 i think. So that leaves me with 180 hours to play in november.

so 3bb / 100 over 180 hours is the goal.
You need another 70k or 30k vpp? 70k in 2months just by playing 50nl seems kind of impossible

Well 70k VPPs is easy tbh. Its just 360-400 hours tops. Which is nothing for a "real" job. If your pursuing greatness. So why would it be impossible in poker? ( Asking this question cause the poker society seems so **** lazy, me included)

But yeah im going for it and will achieve it. No biggie.

I will be playing 4z+6 reg tables or straight up 18 reg tables. Well see whats up and what feels best.

Yah no sweat. It just takes having good daily habits and strong self-discipline.

I suggest The Slight Edge by Jeff Olson as you seem like the type of person that would benefit from it! Good luck!

Hey man,

Saw you in the ThinkItTrhough thread and also in another guy's PG&C thread. After reading your intro you really seem like you are on the same path as me.

Did you like the Double Your Six Max Winrate course?
And do you only play zoom or also regular tables?

I play 50NL regular (my PG&C if you're interested): http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/17...r-pro-1481908/

Hi,

I havent purchased the Double your Winrate course so cant really speak about that. Allthough i heard Gordon was saying their removing the course and will soon be releasing a new one or something. So guess i can advice you to wait abit

I play both Zoom and regular tables. Whatever is the juiciest and best suitable at that time.

Will definetly check out your thread. Cu over there!

Hi Fran! Im still on nl50, but im also at nl100. Well, im playing both. Depending on the tables. So whys that?

Well first of all, ive been low on cash for quite some time. All due to the fact that im done with university and havet had a job since. ( Since June ). Which is when i started playing poker more seriously. So when i moved from nl25 > nl50 etc i still had to pay bills.

In hindsight i really like the fact that i havent been able to move up that fast. My knowledge of the game is tenfold of some regs out there at my limits and for that reason i can play sort of tiltless and totally calm cause i know im a winning player. By a good margin.

Basically ive put more emphasis on learning the game and creating REALLY solid foundations in all aspects before rushing to the big leagues.

But yeah, im currently grindning around 10hours a day right now trying to achieve SN. Which will give me enough cusion to move up to nl100 fulltime. So in January ill be nl100 reg fulltime. And come February / Mars ill move up to nl200 no problems.

Im getting almost daily coaching (1-2 hours) from a mate of mine that is a total baller at the game. So tbh i actually see me playing 500z / nl600+ come November 2015. Which was my original goal. So im in good pace and really enjoying the ride.

Ok so small update. I havent been able to play accordinly to plan because im getting AIDS everytime i log on. For an example, running -11bi under ev over last 20k hands. But thats not enough, need to run into everyones top range all the effin time. Whale, Fish, Bad reg or good reg, dun matter.

I know everyones gotta go through this **** but its so ****ing depressing.. I mean im facing such ****ing easy opposition. But cant catch a break... Dosent make it any easier that im trying to get off the bananas cold turkey after smoking my brain out for the last 5 years.. Funny how every time ive decided to quit bananas i run like tripleaidsinsidemyass. Anyone else felt like that? Cause its not due to bad play cause i feel way more confident and alert now compared to when stoned the **** out.

Well well, gotta **** this pokerbitch up. Nothing else to do but to grind.

Cant quit, quitters dont succeed.

Praying for just smallpox tomorrow instead of aids but well see.

Gl all at the tables

Ok so heres where winners are made. In the midst of a game and confidence downswing. Ive figured my focus has been completely wrong. Playing a gazillion hours 14-18 tables at the same time dosent really elevate my game at all. Im sure my WR might be abit higher when doing so but im not really enjoying it and my LR( learning rate ) is way lower.

And at the moment and for the coming year basically, LR > WR.

I have an amazing opportunity to create the perfect life for myself. So its important to not let anything cloud my judgement. Ive also withdrawn enough for me to not have to worry about bills until January.

So my focus for the rest of November is to just get better. Results wont matter. Just bought a course from Gordon called "Double your 6max winrate" For 297 euros. Its semiold yet actually very relevant to todays games. And seeing as their taking it down in a month or 2 and then ill be able to pick a new course of my liking, for free. ( Special offer now ). I think its a super clear +EV spot for anyone playing nl50 or such.

I will also plough through Mental Game of Poker and Applications of No Limit Holdem, taking notes religously and just going **** mental on the study part.

Ive also decided to give myself only one "freeday" from poker which will be this Friday. All other days its 4+ hours of 10-12 tabling regtables focusing super heavily on awesome decisionmaking through heavy analasys of the HUD etc. This coupled with 4 hours + of study each day will produce nice results.

So now the goals for November 12th - 30th are:

Play 80 hours ( ) or more.

Study 80 hours ( ) or more.

Get ready for NL100 ( )

Cause im starting playing there fulltime December first.

Also to put some pressure on myself (cause im acting like a bipolar elephant changing my goals more often than i change underwear lol) ive decided im freerolling the next 4 posters with 50$, no lets say 100$ each if i cant show a graph of 80 hours or 70k hands ranging from November 12th to December 1st. Will also mention this to coach and hell kick me in my ass if i dont come through.

I effin want this more than anything. Im going to win. Champions stand up one more time.

Well, im a sort of newbie at poker. And that book no BS 6 max was really good for me at the start. And wouldnt you say its reasonable your goals and expectations change the more you play and study the game?

Guess you should get the no BS book cause you do seem like the sort of donkey your reffering to.

Edit: Dont have time and wont respond to your nonsense again. This thread is going to consist of only positive ****. So stay away if thats not in your nature.

Hey,

Time for a small update.

Studying really hard each day now, and playing according to my schedule. Think i might be out of the downswing now. ( Lets not hope i jinx the **** out of it now ).

Think i might continue fulltime at nl100 now. Basically all the same as nl50. I see almost no difference. Fish are still fish and whales are well, whales.

Got into a really cool skypegroup which im super happy to be part of just gets clearer and clearer that if you surround yourself with poker players you will improve. Trying to do what Colman said " Immerse yourself totally in poker ".

So yeah, lifes great, pokers great.

No hands or graphs until november 30th thou.
