Hello all,

I have been playing poker for a couple years and have had very little success, by that I mean a micro-score here and there . I have learned a lot poker, playing whether its live or online, and through reading books [Power Hold’em Strategy, super system I and II, I just started the Harrington on Hold’em Series] but I have had horrible time with bankroll management/patience and I have been mostly focused on the "quick score”. BF came and I stopped playing poker for several months, then I slowly have been starting it up again, at home games and charity rooms, I re-read the books I already read and started re-studying the game, in an attempt to improve my game.
Here is a typical scenario of my “play” pre-BF

Deposit maybe 100 or 200 usd,
run it up to as much as 2K
variance starts to hit, go on tilt, lose my roll...etc, etc.

IMO this is due to:

Poor bankroll management
Tilt
Not setting rules and sticking to goals

Long term goals:
Improve my play so that I can a “winning” player.
Become a more serious poker player, for the most part I have been recreational just spewing money away
Improve my bankroll management

Short term goals:
Improve my play through free-rolls, studying, etc.
Build a bankroll of some sort.

My plan:
Since PS is no longer an option due to BF, I’m gonna grind free-rolls and the SNGs on merge along with free-rolls on minted. Since I’m currently in school finishing my degree and running for the uni, along with not having a job I have no way to deposit and build a bankroll that way, hopefully I can improve my over game, even if it may be a long haul; gotta start somewhere

And for what reason are you gonna start grinding FRs whilst you are busy finishing your degree? Why not concentrate on your degree, get a decent grad job and print money. Poker will still be around when you start bringing home a paycheck.
Good luck however, if you choose to build a roll starting from freerolls. It is a time consuming and often frustrating feat.

I'm in my last year, also I need something to help pass the free time, so I figured this would be a good idea
