You should listen to his Boiler Room too, it's freaking awesome. Really unusual ****, but it's all fitting together or something. It has a somewhat faster pace than his essential mix

Anyway, gonna see Max Cooper again Gonna go for at least two events w ADE. Now we've got the first night on thursday with Tale of Us, Dixon and Mind Against and the second night on Friday w Max Cooper, Bodzin, Extrawelt and Kiasmos

More down under
A couple of updates ago I mentioned visiting Australia in 2017 and I'm still in favour of going. My manager told me I should go for it and that we would figure out how to manage that at work, so we dealed with the first potential issue

I also figured out what I want to see and in what country I should start, as the flight to Australia has at least one stopover. I probably gonna visit Bangkok for a couple of days because of the stopover and then take the plane to Melbourne. I was in doubt if I have to start in Melbourne or Brisbane, but I guess it's gonna be Melbourne so we can finish the trip in Brisbane. At least for Aussie, because I wanna go somewhere else for another week to meet up with my gf. Yeah, I'm gonna go on my own

It's super fun to figure out what I wanna do, how much $ I need, what places to visit and how to get there. It makes me wanna go soo much more

I probably gonna use a chunk of my bankroll to pay for this trip so it won't be too much of my savings. But for that I really need to play and win some more in the coming months, although I already know I don't have a lot of time. I'm gonna think about setting some targets, but not sure how exactly.

Will come up with a proper poker update later, because this weekend I will definitely play a few hands

Crushing
Got myself a nice week, starting with a nice weekend of pokers. I ran well, played decent and won a couple of stacks. I can't complain, because I still didn't play too many hands. I had some other stuff to do, and now I'm even more busy:
- Got invited for a job application next Friday at a festival event organisator
- Just booked the first part of my trip: flight to Bangkok
- Checked our house today: everything seems good and really eager to get the keys next week
- Still have to finish my essay
- And obv we're gonna party next Friday with Adriatique, Solomun and Kollektiv Turmstrasse at an indoor nightparty

I'm really excited about my job interview and hopefully this will lead to a nice switch. Rooting for myself lol

Couple of hands:

Still thinking he probably shows up with AA or some weird 3x hand

Nah i thought they would never donk/jam a hand liker AJ, but just donk/call down like most passives do. But it might be bad lol.

My SN is not public, but I know we played a few hands because I recognize you

Huh, september?
So I basically just found out that it's already October and the pokermonth is over. To be frankly honest I thought it was like halfway the month. But that's probably the result of playing such a small amount of hands.

Still a busy month, because my "holiday" started and I've got another 2 weeks to get our house done (not much I do myself, but managing all the workers lol), pack stuff but not less important: graduate in two weeks. I really need this 1-time right now

Pokerwise I can happily say we've got a nice amount of BB/100, but on the other hand: we haven't even played like 7k hands. It's getting ridiculous

I think November won't be any bigger, but hopefully I can start grinding again in December and win some dollars for Australia!

September:

A few hands

Wasn't sure what we do call here, but his sizing + dry board?

Pokerlife is good, but festival life is also very good at the moment. I was at Diynamic last week which was pretty good. It was a bit crowded, but Kollektiv Turmstrasse and Adriatique did a great job.

In november I'm gonna go indoor and I also booked the finishing touch for 2016 with 30 December Maceo Plex, KiNK, Capriati and Tale of Us

Next stop: Afterlife w Tale of Us, Mind Against & Dixon

Pretty sure we're not supposed to fold AQ river vs this size+unknown villain.

Two last hands are pretty disgusting. AKcc is prob a turnfold vs 99% of the pool, but yeah can relate to stationing these spots

A few setbacks
So we are now owners of a very nice, but empty house! Unfortunately we're having some setbacks because we didn't manage everything in the right order. At the moment our kitchen is standing in the middle of the living room, because some electricity points are not at the right place. That means that the floor can't be layed right, so we might have some trouble moving over a week. In fact the kitchen can only be placed in two weeks. That means a lot of pizza..

Feels good to write this down because it's kind of annoying how it all works out at the moment

Thankfully I am not necessary at the house every minute of the day, so I have some time off at my appartment to do some packing, studying, work out and play a couple of hands. It's not going really well, but I enjoy it really much. Probably because I don't think about the house these moments

Next Thursday I need to defend my paper and hopefully will graduate as an online marketeer

A new place called home
About two weeks ago me and my gf moved from our appartment to our new build house! Most work is done, but now I understand what it means to be busy doing stuff in your house. Yeah, we moved. But lights, curtains, plants, gardens and all other stuff can be done when you're moved in. So, we still have a lot of stuff to do, but it's getting real nice in here

Besides moving I also graduated as I already stated a few weeks ago which is nice, because I have some extra time to spend on the house and even on grinding lol.

I've played like 10k hands and I'm happy to mention my computer/work/grinding room is done and I can grind pretty relaxed in here. I'm at 13k hands atm and about BE.

Nothing special, just fun hands

Afterlife
So last week I went to Tale of Us's hosted party called Afterlife and I've seen Mind Against, Ame&Rodhad, Dixon and Tale of Us playing in this order. It was a nice party, but I'm getting a little exhausted after these nightevents. The following days I'm pretty much looking for my normal rhytm again lol

But it was really awesome, especially Ame&Rodhad was BIG. And ofcourse Dixon was performing really well again. These names, man it was big.

New ravers
Got myself some new ravers lol

Australia
I also booked my 2nd ticket for my trip Down Under. I will start in Bangkok for two days and will continue in Melbourne. I will arrive there on 27th of January and probably going through the Great Ocean Road and stay a couple of days in the city for some fun sightseeing. Next steps are still unknown, but I will figure this out soon

Let's finish this one just as Tale of Us finished last week:

How did you buy a house? What job do you have?

Also when do you run? I try to run in the morning straight after I wake up. It's hard sometimes but you feel great afterwards.

Well, with a morgage I am working as a Communication Coördinator at a mortgage bank.

Until now I used to run three times a week, mostly once after work and twice at the start of the day (Friday/Sunday). But I lacked the last few weeks, but really agree on running in the morning

Hah nice kicks man! Really like the colour, pretty much the same colour as mine I think.

I think I stay in/around Mellbourne for about 4/5 days, but I'm going north via the eastcoast to finish in Brisbane for a couple of days (late February). Think we might enter a rave by that time

Monthly wrap up
October to an end and when I look back: wow. It happened fast.
I have done quite a few stuff this year and the last months will be about figuring out Australia, figuring out what to do with my career and hopefully I can grind a few dollars we can spend on our trip!

Last month wasn't a good example for saving dollars, as I couldn't close it without losses. Not a heavy one thankfully, but we have to do better from now on. It just means my roll is getting a bit smaller.

One for fun
Sometimes you have to play by their rules

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has A 3

Flop: (3.5 BB, 3 players) A A 3
Hero checks, CO bets 3.32 BB, BTN calls 3.32 BB, Hero raises to 6.64 BB, fold, BTN calls 3.32 BB

Turn: (20.1 BB, 2 players) Q
Hero bets 12.4 BB, BTN calls 12.4 BB

River: (44.9 BB, 2 players) 5
Hero bets 42.38 BB, BTN calls 42.38 BB and is all-in

Hero shows A 3 (Full House, Aces full of Threes)
(Pre 71%, Flop 100%, Turn 100%)
BTN shows 3 K (Two Pair, Aces and Threes)
(Pre 29%, Flop 0%, Turn 0%)
Hero wins 125.66 BB

To finish this one I must admit I'm really getting back to sports at the moment and feeling much better these days. Next weekend my first official tennismatch awaits (tournament, double game) and I'm really excited! I'm also doing my indoor work out again and now I only need to get back to running. Pretty happy

Next month: Crushing the games again

Two tracks
This one is played at almost every party lately

And just found this one, different pace but just as nice

Getting back at the tables
The first couple of thousand hands in november are going quite ok. I've decided to upgrade the amount of tables and right now I'm mostly 4-tabling. I just take some more time to wait before quickfolding so I don't feel uncomfortable rushing without thinking actually. I'm still not sure if this is pefect and might go back to 3 someday, but for now it's ok.

We're running decent and playing some fun pots every now and then, so happy about it. It feels like I'm back at poker again after all these other things. Still busy applying for another job and next week I've got a job interview for online marketeer at a retailer. We will see how it goes.

I'm getting more and more ready for Aussi and found some must-have stops on my way there, so really looking forward to it.

I am not running anymore, but it doesnt concern me too much. I might not be able to reach my running goal (365miles), but on the other hands I'm still almost working out/playing tennis every day.

No hands this time, because I didn't find any good ones I can share.

Summary:
Poker: +5BI
Running: zero miles

And ofcourse we finish in style:
