I play the standard public sites. Stars, party, GG and a few others. I don't touch the apps or play in private games.

I hope that my average stake ends up a little higher than 500NL.

volume good, game quality bad, play mediocre.

Hours and total hands were what i was aiming for: 35 hours of poker, 350/hands hour. Study was non-existent though.

Game quality was a lot worse than my expectation. Overall the midstakes regs played very well, especially the guys battling. That's not good since the quality of my thought process is weak right now. I was auto-piloting in a good portion of the sessions and the portion i was thinking consciously in - the visualization was lacking. I probably still had a reasonable winrate in the games i did get, but i don't expect anything crazy.

For the coming week i can improve by studying more and selecting a bit harder but other than that i'll repeat most of this week.

HSNL power ranking?

+1 now that op won't battle hs anymoar why not rite

Why is everybody so interested about this is beyond me. Plus you already know the answer more or less.

+1 .. Power rankings made sense for HU when lobbies were extremely competetive. The rankings created actions and challenges.

In 6-max they never served a purpose, and even among the top players people seem to disagree heavily. I also never understood the concept of power rankings for ring games. Some guys like zarubant for example is considered absolute top player but he reg war way less than most other top guys. On the other side there are guys that might not be considered as strong but people still dont try to take the lobby from them. Are power rankings about who holds the lobby or who is the best player? And what stake is the competetive stake where people are supposed to reg war to move up the rankings.

It would have been cool if stars had some kind of leaderboard where someone gets rewarded for playing the most ammount of hands at i.e $25/50+ every month. It's a bit sad there is no incentive for people to reg war really. Not that I plan on regwarring myself, but there is still plenty of games out there playing 3handed at 25 50 and 50 100 for this to be entertaining.

Got sick for 4-5 days so been sleeping it off. Getting back to normal now.

That means my volume is low for this week, tracked volume was 4,500 hands and I played a few thousand hands untracked. Considering the circumstances, i'm happy with that.

Same goals this week, looking to get 8-10k~ hands in providing i'm over the worst of being sick.
