Goal 1 - Play 60 hours in April - Played 44.28 hours which is 73.8% of target. Month is 73.33% old so 16 mins ahead!! Great stuff - would usually fall behind over weekend but managed to spend loads of time with family AND get some hours in over the easter break!

I have only got a half pot bet left mate. The more I look at this the more I think just shovel it in.

What hands that you beat will call a shove? If you think your ahead would x/c be a better option to give him a chance to bluff you off the hand. Was he floating a lot of flops and turns in previous hands?

A hit flush on the turn would also just call your turn bet. And the open ended flush got there on the river. I think shove is the worst option tbh. x/c and x/f greater then shove imo.

Hi mate, yh I knew what you meant. I was hoping to get more input on this hand and come back with a conclusion but haven't got much help if I am honest.
I just can't see me folding ever here and maybe by betting I get value from the part of his range I beat.
But really I do not know!!
Well that is a bit of an illusion!! I just realised I have not done weekly update for two weeks. This is due to holidays.
Sample way too small to gauge anything from results but overall I think progress and process are going well.
Yh I am not too convinced I should bet my SDV here. General chat so far has suggested XB turn and fold if he bets river.

98s is an easy check behind, betting is pretty bad imo. Betting for protection has to be burning money when he can be c/c'ing some Ax and hands like QQ here. I'd check and hope to get to showdown vs KQo/QJs type hands and I don't think villain ever bluffs river with those as it's clear we have SDV so yeah fold if he bets.

1. Is preflop ok?
2. Was going to XR flop, villain cbets 70% and high ATS BTN. Got BDSD and BDFD and not much SDV.

as played on turn.. i would bomb turn and river.. he can only call us with 6x on both turn and river..
He almost never has a hand that he would x flop with(on that drawy board) and that is able to call 2 streets og big bets

AK is a shove or x/f, x/c would be disgusting.

When the board pairs I could def see leading out on the turn around $1.50. The fact that he didn't cbet would indicate he thinks that flop hit your range and I agree overpairs and AJ would almost always be in his 70% cb range. I bet you get a lot of folds. If he calls and a blank hits you would probably have to barrel off one more bet on the river though. So if you plan on betting on turn and folding to a blank river then just giving up would be better.

So what calls our shove that we are ahead of? only K10s and AQo with A of hearts right?

Are you also trying to fold out trips with the shove as well? 10's is the only ones i could think of btw.

Hmm. When a 19/15 with 50% cbet three barrels ~0.7x each street from UTG I am looking for a hand as good as top two to call with. But on a paired, 3-flush board I really don't think I have the required 30%. But I am a nit! Thoughts?

Well, I am trying hard to think what he will not cbet this flop with....

Its wet so I doubt he has a decent value hand...

He looks like a reg so I would expect him to cbet plenty of draws...

I would expect him to XB 22-55, 6x and air with not much equity...

By betting we could fold out some hands that beat us there and we don't have much SDV.

By checking we can sometimes win at SD and sometimes hit a pair too.

If we bet we are betting without any additional equity and our bet turn versus missed cbet will be huge (exploitable but meh at NL50? I think its important to know it's probably a mistake even if its EV++).

So, I think its close at micro's but overall I am convinced (now) that it is a mistake to bet here (for range reasons).

Definitely TLDR.

Q8 is probably a check, you can bet quite a few rivers if it checks through again
AK could definitely be a fold if you think the guy never bluffs and bottom of his value range is AK (I think this is quite common at 50nl)

Had a really good day of study but did not export hands to other pc to do schedule and HH's yesterday so it all went to pot. In fact I dunno how I coped without my schedule!!!!. I am betting turn and river alot here.. if he just x/c the turn.. he has a very weak hand or a Draw..

U should watch his fold to cbet stat ott, if its low then better to give up, if high bet. Vs unknown id bet and might even bet river
