All is good for me, really good. April was my first £15k profit month so my business isn't suffering but not nice to see so many in such a bad place.

So I dunno if it was clear from what you read but I don't play poker anymore?

Poker was an amazing learning journey for me, I really slugged my balls out for not much financial reward.... saying that I am in the small percentage that MADE money playing poker and didn't lose though lol!

Thing is... I really honed my self discipline skills, and poker was a big part of me realising how life really works (hint: there's eff all outside of you that can make improve you or diminish you).

Life is so good for me now, businesses are booming and I'm helping loads of people to improve their lives.

I just could NOT ask for anything more.

It's much more of a grind now with playstyles converging towards GTO and 80%+ of pools being eastern euro.

Thats awesome. I kept checking in here for a year or so hoping you would update but didn't see anything so I just stopped and then the other day thought I would have a nosey and glad to say I did.

That reddit post was ace in the fact that whoever posted it probbly thought it were going to be funny to try and rip someone to pieces but instead got mainly support. Better to have tried to improve yourself that not bother.

Ive not played poker now for a number of years like yourself, well apart from the odd game at the pub, and to be honest quitting was probably the best thing that Ive done but I don't regret actually playing poker though as it gave me the skills and helped me know my own limitations for what I do now.

Yeah still got the shop thanks despite whats happened this year. My bit on the side is now stocks and shares which has a lot of similarities with poker but without the tilt.

Hopefully 2021 goes a lot better than 2020 for everyone.
