Great day. Absolutely enjoyed getting owned by everyone . Im feeling like Im playing the best Ive played this year so far but its strange how it works out.

Month this far.

Was hoping to make it going upwards and hit 200 by the end of the month, but that isnt very likely to happen if I wont get on a super heater. Im just going to focus on next day and play my best, it will have to turn around eventually.

I think if you want to minimize variance, you just have to get better and increase your EV. So Im just looking to study alot and try to improve myself every day.

I have great routines at the moment. 1 hour study EACH day, 5-30 min post sessions review EVERY session, warmup in differents forms before EVERY session and so on. The study hour is always varying depending on what Im in the mood for. Analyzing hands/ranges with PPT is fun. Watching videos and take good notes/question things is also a good thing for me. Do you guys do anything else to improve your games? Ive moved a little bit away from sweating as it takes up too much time, maybe I should start doing that again.

Thank you. Its tough but I think its important that I have downswings and learn how to co-op with them. I need to remind myself why Im doing this when things get tough.

Thats unfortunate, I think you should take a day or two off again and study or something. Or another alternative is just to drop down in stakes for 1 or 2 days until you boost your confidence/ start winning again.

Not sure if you've done this before, but I do it everytime I get owned at the tables.

GL, btw have read 1 Jim Rohn book, and man it was a fantastic read.

I probably would take an extended break (2-3 days) but I feel like Im playing the best Ive done this year so far and Im very grind motivated so I want to play alot. Im pretty sure it will turn around once I start catching some rungood. First session today started out pretty well.

Im happy that I can handle the downswing the way I am. I would like to think that strong trees doesnt grow strong without harsh winds.

Which Jim Rohn book was that? His stuff is great and Im happy you enjoyed it .

10:30-11:00 Warmup session

17:00-18:00 Study

18:00-20:00 Grind

Rest of the day off

Thats right. Im going old-school and return the schedule theme I had for a long time in the beginning of this thread. Ive always kept an personal journal troughout this time but I think having this kind of fixed timeframes in this thread might spice it up. Must be boring just seeing my miserable graphs all the time .

My idea is to keep posting them on a daily basis and then do a second post after each day, going trough how it went and put up tomorrows schedule. My hope is that this will give me some more energy and re-vitalize my work ethic.

This first schedule is a typical day for me. Add 2-4 workouts each week and 1 spanish lesson. Gf will probably want some time aswell. So its not written in stone but its something to work from.

Freetime is most often gaming, learning spanish or reading a book. Jim Rohn taught that you should read 30 minutes each day whatever happens, so Im trying to stick to that as long as I have things to read.

Other then that, Im just looking to be more active posting/discuss hands in here, show some work Im doing off tables involving calculations and PPT. Any feedback is great.

Also adding weekly goals, starting monday.

I think the hands are standard. Sizing is a bit off. The hands occured with the first one first, when he floated flop with two bd fd and a bd straight. So after that, I made assumptions about how he plays/thinks about the game and I work from there. Seeing what he plays preflop also confirmed my adjustment, its just a matter of making decent hands but him hitting top 10% of his.

Great day. Didnt get to play the volume I planned but I had too much stuff going on outside poker. I felt pretty well with how I did today and just looking to play the same tomorrow.

On a sidenote. Learning spanish is really hard. Its very different to swedish and english so it kinda takes some mental energy trying to learn how to speak properly. I dont want to be just able to speak some sentences or that, I would like to be able to speak fluently and without thinking too deeply about how I should speak. Long way to go before that but hopefully by the end of the year. Would be great to visit Spain in december and give it a try.

Parts of the theory is a bitch, you'll know when you get into 'subjuntivo', but i guess it's not impossible
Don't know too much about you, but i'd guess you play fulltime?
In that case, why not move down here and study and grind?
That's what i do, not professionally tho since i'm playing microPLO with horrible volume, but just being able to study from here is supernice
Anyhow, i'm just typing away here while procrastinating the studies of 'subjunputativo'. Just ask if you want to know something in spanish or so.
Best of luck with the pokers and the Spanish studies, will follow your thread

            Hola.

I havent gotten to "subjuntivo" yet so I have no idea what that is . Hopefully its not too hard to learn. I do play fulltime and it would be cool to move to Spain, but I got some obligations here. Living with gf and most of my friends lives here. Also the economical part is important but I would like to be able to live in Spain regularly at some point, maybe 2-4 months each year when it gets too cold here. I do think living and speaking the language is a big boost to the learning curve so my guess is that your doing rapid progress?

Ill shoot you a message if I find something too difficult .

Good thing is that its my second winning day in a row. So just got to keep doing my best. Tomorrow wont be a huge day because me and gf will visit our future pet which is a 3h drive back and forth. Also got spanish class which will take some time to prepare.

I'm going to have to check that out.

I'm more into philosphical stuff over practical stuff.

Both is very interesting to me but philosphical can be practical (or I would think). What specific book ?
