So I'm going to also get over my hikikomori ways. I have $13 that I can spend on food. I'm going to start walking to the market every 4 days, and buying $10 worth of food. It's a 4.4 km round-trip. I'm out of shape and scared of the outdoors, so this will be a good challenge to do this walk every 4 days. I'm really learning to appreciate the value of money and earning money and I subscribed to the Albertson's deals/coupons RSS feed so I can get the most for my dollar. I'm getting staked for the big Sunday Storm, so maybe I'll find a golden ticket there.

Japan makes me feel stupid to post about my so-called challenge, but: left house at around 4:30 am, walked 3 miles to an ATM to deposit the money in my wallet to pay bills. Then walked to the supermarket with $13 left. Spent $12.85 on food. Walked back to apt for 6 miles total when I haven't walked 100 feet for ages. Wasn't tired but could barely walk from leg and foot muscle cramps. Each step near the end took all my concentration.

After reaching home, I writhed on the floor for a few minutes in pain. Then cooked some of the food. Then played 256 Ts. It's a good feeling to push yourself to the limits and know you achieved something. Yeah, I know I'm pathetic, and this is nothing for normal people, but it's a big step for me, so w/e. Being able to go to the supermarket is amazing. Just leaving the house was a big step. It's awesome being able to appreciate the so-called little things, and this is probably my biggest turning point in life. I know my situation pales in comparison to many others, but all I have is my own life to go by, and tbh I don't think I really care about my own life anyway lol. (see Quantum Immortality). I view it more as a game, like an MMORPG. Money is the gold pieces. I'm a level 1, with a few gold pieces, so I can't buy the expensive things yet. Gradually, build up levels, acquire more GP, live to win.

Anyway, everything went according to plan today. I have some beer cans I can turn in for 5 cents a can. That will buy me food next time. I plan on walking to the market every 4 days, gradually filling up my kitchen and turning my life around, a few dollars at a time. And if I continue playing 256 Ts a day, I'll probably be fairly wealthy soon. The only thing that could mess this up is if the stupid govt bans online poker.

Rent: I was the proverbial 40-year-old living in their parents basement. Got kicked out of a nice mansion after my dad died, and mom got remarried a few years later. Mom is paying rent at the moment lol. Yeah, I'm a ****ing joke. But not anymore. After I got kicked out, I was basically lost. Just left, drove to Reno, lived in motels for 6 months, used up all my savings. I've turned things around. Anyway, I plan on paying her back, plus a lot more.
