you're missing the point. the problem isn't so much that you call them fish, but that you out their SN and label them "bad".

Just think it's a somewhat cloudy "fact", that posting SNs is bad. Think that nowodays, things have changed a LOT, and that regs should re-consider all kinds of "axioms" regarding tons of stuff that stop from the normal REG population of catching up to the top notch regs.

I really dont see how you don't get why people have a problem with what you're doing... if you wanna talk about hands with known regs in the pool then talk to friends on skype or some other non public domain...
You really dont gain anything about posting the screen names of anyone else you're playing against... especially when its a fish, what do you achieve by posting the SN?

October was my first "grinding" month this year, played 30k hands at 400nl and Zoom 500, with a week in the middle where I didn't play at all due to representing Israel at the Asian Nations Cup.

Running bad EV-wise since beginning of the year, around 25 BI so far, with tons of frustrating spots that the EV line doesn't count. The running-bad really takes the fun from playing even when I do find the time, and reflects on my personal life as well.

Since mid-october started a new thing, not checking results at all. The difference is noted, poker have much less influence on my life + it seems like the way to go if I want to start treating poker again as a "normal" job, coming to the "office", putting 2-3 hours daily and doing well.

Finished the month down 10 BIs , expected down 4BI , waiting for the run-good to comeback, so I can take it all back on higher stakes :P

Ty, was a bit tilted while playing this hand, at the time thought he can have plenty of JT, and lower combinations of flush there, but it seems like at least some part of it doesn't raise my river bet + prob not calling enough of my shoves to make it profitable VS all the other times when he have higher flush + full house...

Is it just me or does it seems like he has improved his game a TON ??

Is he a fish? Fish raise trips on river flushes donks all the time.

what kind of difference in results are you getting from zoom/reg games nowadays? seems to me you probably do a lot better at reg tables

He was a BIG fish, not sure nowadays though..

At the Zoom tables I ran bad and prob don't play really good, somewhere around -1 bb/100 ev-expected wise for the year, way less in reality.

The regular 400nl tables are way softer, ev-expected somewhere around 5bb/100, effective around 2bb/100.

How can you beat 500nl and still be this dense?

Do you really think something that is stopping a normal reg from being a top notch reg is posting a fishes name, so that when he googles it, your thread comes up and he realizes people are making fun of him?

I see your point, but to my disappointment no strat-talk is being created, not by regs from my stakes whom I know to be reading the Thread, nor by people from lower stakes

Will post stats upon request.

This is exactly what I mean by "old facts"...

Jeez, is this really the reason for the secret SNs?? So that fish that googles his own SN (they always do that, fish, google their own SNs..), for some unknown reason he gets to page 3-4 on google (because all the first results are from all the tracking sites and some random bull****), finds my thread, enters, and sees...?

NOTHING.

no one laughes, no one makes jokes on people, fish or reg, here in the thread. He sees his name, some bull**** tag like "spot" or "recreational", and what?

Stops playing poker?

jfc, Theres a fair few people coming in to tell that posting SN's is bad, and there isnt anyone agreeing with you. Why you think that is? Just stop being a f'in dick for the sake of it.

Post reg SN's all you want, but i seriously dont understand what you gain by posting fish sn's and then calling them a fish. Its not like its going to help people contribute to strat
