I haven't really played poker seriously since over a year or so, except in short sporadic bursts. Not sure if it's because I don't really like it or because deep down I always feared someone being better than me or something, who knows (ego thing). Haven't really cared to get rich quick while the gravy train was rolling, so even when I was winning big I didn't put in much volume. I've also lived pretty frugally and have made similar moneyz sports betting along the way. In any case, let's give pokers a shot yo, see if I'm rusty or I can just hop back into it and have success.

Background: played turbo husngs from 200-2k with 100-500 superturbos mixed in on euro sites from 2010 to early 2013. Never bumhunted much, and played about 50/50 regs and fish, enjoying playing tougher opponents since money was not the main motivator.

So let's see where this takes us, since I recently graduated, will play poker a bit and see if I like it if not, ****** (apparently wot-eva is censored now, I guess that was to be expected eventually). Will prob continue sportsbetting as well.

Also, since I live in Canadia it's going to be tough to move money around now that skrill has closed down, but will try to change my address in the coming months to clear that up since I have eu citizenship as well, and property there (usually spend most summers there regardless).

Let's see if making this thread motivates me to play, since I'm pretty lazy like gazorpazorpfield.

I've made some new sn's for rakeback and bonus purposes on ipoker and a few other networks (not multi accounting yo, just on diff skins). Have til end of March to clear my ipoker bonus (that I've had since Jan...), but at least I've gotten about 21 games in that timeframe! So only 5.3kish (euro) in rake to go!

Will have to play mostly "regs" and keep lobby to clear it though, so let's see if that is tough as an unknown nowadays since I've forgotten about it. At least this will prob give me some indication if I've fallen off or not, but most likely not since sample size and all (and playing diff ppl at once at 4-5 tbls might prove to be tough after such a break?). So follow me in this thread to glory, or not... I might not even update it and find no motivation from it, who knows. Let's see if tomorrow I will feel like playing, that will most likely be the main indication if I'll follow through or not.

Anyway, will play mostly trubos at 200s, with 100s and 300s mixed in, as well as 100-200 sts. Don't really wanna bust ipoker, since there's no p2p and only have about 8.5k there (i.e. can't redeposit). Also will probably start playing on stars next month next month and some other sites as well, but for now it's ipoker.

Overall goal is to get back to 1ks+ and put in some decent volume, I guess I could prob do that now, but let's make sure I have a winrate first before losing moneyz imo.

Actually played today, for a bit. Ran goodish card distribution wise but awful in allin ev. Since my account is in usd, and the rate today for euros dropped (losing about 1$/100 euros I think) I didn't want to go overboard and play many competent ppl, so games so far were mostly against fish I think. I guess that's the downfall of the conversion on ipoker, if the rate they use depreciates after. I guess it will work the other way around too though. Anyway only have 11 days left if I want to clear most of my bonus. I've played mostly 200 turbos, and some 100-200 sts mixed in as well.



I should actually be up 300 or so (also this is supposed to be in euros) but not sure why 1/3 of the games have come up as incomplete. These are the superturbos I think. I don't think I closed the lobby prematurely either so I don't know why it happened (maybe it has something to do with the rematch feature? i.e. games showing up as incomplete if you accept a rematch). If anyone can shed some light on this I'd appreciate it. Still using hem1.

In any case, my overall volume is not much diff than what I played today.



prob missing 5 or so tourneys from it as well. maybe hh wasn't stored locally or something that's why, don't know. Overall up about 200 euro pre rb I think (was down overall prior to today on the site, or close to even, I forgot).

Anyway, we'll see maybe I'll decide to continue playing and post weekly updates or something in this thread. See where it goes since I've never cared much about tracking results lifetime. I'll keep track of my sportsbetting in this thread as well I guess, since I never cared about doing that either. Maybe a bi weekly update at first for motivation, then weekly, then finally monthly or bi-monthly we shall see.

Anyway, let's start with a clean slate (although I'm prob down betting last few days, and I've had close to 50kish downswongs in it, poker not as much but those seem worse for some reason, or being breakeven). Cutting unit size substantially since I'm on a swong and all too.

So I guess I'll keep a record for bets made, and start counting the daily wins/losses. For poker I'll just do it at the end or something. We'll see, how I'll do it.

Day 2: No pokerz today, euro rate was even worse (was losing over 2$/100euros, how is that even possible for them to charge a higher rate, by 0.1 when the euro went significantly down last day?). Will have to either convert my accnt to euros, or hope there's some favourable exchange rates in the coming days. If not, forget about clearing the bonus I guess, it's not that important. We'll see, I have other sites to play, maybe start establishing myself elsewhere I guess. Was planning on doing that next month, and focusing on ipoker so far for this one but w.e.

And -400 live in play for a single bet where I took Fiorentina to qualify in play in the 60th or so minute at 2.1. This was ridiculous value imo, since they were playing slightly better, were at home and needed 30min more to hang on, 69th minute red card followed by a perfect Pirlo free kick changed that though I guess.

Pokerz was played today, in the end we got a favourable rate for the euro conversion so I put a few games in on ipoker, as well played on stars (vs some "reg" I guess?) for a few games in turbos . Guess I'll prob have to play a lot before I can get to open sit lobby there imo, since alliances and all etc. At least I got silverstar yo.

Pretty gross beat on Attila Vegh, and a 2.3k swing. He could've won but decided to coast, and lose vs baby kicks. Split decision loss, but he deserved to lose it I guess, horrible corner + horrible game plan cost him. Still would've taken those odds even before the decision was read though. Newton is a fighter that cost me over 15k in his 2nd fight vs Mo Lawal, but seems like a pretty cool laidback guy; can't hate him. Awful fighting style though.
