I know he wants to paint this picture of himself as some highly skilled dude who can magically print money out of thin air while *and this is important* not doing any work. But a significant portion of that money came from somewhere. And I'm pretty sure it's not the stock market and poker has been dead for most of this year.

And he even said himself in this thread that 1. he got a stimulus check 2. he got some money from his wife from tax returns.

Why don't you wake up and use some common sense and connect the dots that are in front of you.

No money from govt, beside stimulus. I repeat...no money, no loans, no borrowed money, no handouts.

I guess I did magically print money in the market this year. I thought u did too? What’s the big deal? I made $50k in the market this year while only investing $30k. Totaling $80,101. All of which is liquid because all my money was in RH. Now transferring to my bank
I don’t get it.

The common sense is u not understanding.
Out of all people who crush, u wd think this genius here who makes 780,000% and made more in one month than I did in a year wd understand. Ur a phucking idiot!

Come on man don’t let the haters win. You gotta know your supporters far outnumber the negative Nancys in here.

In his mind the haterz outweigh his supporter 1,000 to 1. That has been his mentality for a long time which I would argue has helped him accomplish some of what he has.

While I agree he shouldn't have said anything about BS' wife let's not pretend BS isn't morally bankrupt. BS has bragged about stealing from home depot and admitted to stealing money out of his kid's piggybank to go gamble.

In saying that I am steal rooting for BS. I am excited that BS looks likely to accomplish his goal. However, I wish his ego wasn't so big and he thanked taxpayers along with home depot owners, customers and employees as he likely wouldn't have accomplished it without all of them.
These were all business owners saying benefits don’t affect people looking for work? It depends what type of jobs these are. I am hiring mostly labourers and foremen in the construction type work and had many people just asking if we could pay cash.

If we are talking 60k plus per year jobs to start it makes a difference. If someone would make $3200 a month working for me and can collect $2000 a month and pick up some cash work, it’s different. Most of the people applying now haven’t been working the last few months. These are 18-30 year olds. Most other business owners I know had more trouble than usual finding people as well.

Spy love your personal thread man, you've done some amazing things in the market and really an inspiration for some.

I don't however get why you have so much hate for rayz - you come here with such negativity its sad to see. Just leave the dude alone and let him do his thing. Your comment about 80k makes you sound like an absolute prick of a human being and insufferable to be around in real life.

The results for Rayz don't matter. If he makes money, or crashes and burns, its all about the journey. People read this thread on a poker forum, over the internet to be entertained. Do you understand this?

Rayz - congrats on the successful year! Started with a <img /nl challenge, now we're here. I look forward to reading about your 2021 plans!

You know what, you are absolutely right. I'm actually a pretty chill guy if you know me, but I do come across that way on the internet because I can get caught up in it.

Rayz, I'd like to take back some of my more negative comments in here and I do apologize for them. I guess like you I'm not perfect either and can make mistakes as well.

I'm glad you're in a good spot after such a turbulent year and I do hope you continue with your business in the future since you seem to have a talent for that and seemed to enjoy doing it.

Anyways I do want to say that I'm sincerely sorry again and do hope you and your family well over the holidays.

Not like this BS! I thoroughly enjoy your posts. Some people on here are out of line for sure. 2+2 is pretty toxic in general. I follow the Las Vegas vloggers thread and those guys favorite thing to do is **** on trooper97. By the amount of time these guys spend posting on here you can tell they're miserable and don't have much going on. Don't let them get to you. Hope your doing well and happy holidays!

No, I would suspect somewhere around 0% of them are business owners. They are the same people who don't think raising taxes discourages people from working as much, as hard or as long.

I am just spiking the football in some of their faces as there are thousands of examples similar to yours that contradict their claims.

lol @ “spiking the football” not sure if you heard but there was a pandemic this year. The goal was not to lower the unemployment rate, it was to get people to stay home. That’s why the businesses also got a $400 billion bailout called the PPP. How many business owners didn’t even need the PPP but still took it anyways because it was free money? Probably every single one of them judging by how fast they crashed the website to get their free handouts. And now they are getting another $300 billion bailout in the new stimulus while the unemployment gets slashed to 300/week. If that is enough for people not to work for you then you just paying shitty wages point blank.

I don't think anything you said really disagreed with anything I said. My point is that decreasing the gap between what someone would get if they did or didn't work does in fact discourage people from working. This is somehow a debated point in many political circles.

I don't know what % of business owners refused the bailout, but the 2 businesses I have an affiliation with both qualified but neither took it. Nobody that works for either of these companies quit their job because of the handouts and none of them lost their job. Both companies looked like covid was going to hurt them, but both ended up having record years this year.

The part we disagree on is the implication that unemployment getting people to stay home during a pandemic is a bad thing. I think it’s a good thing, you think people should die for the stock market. You also seem unaware that the 600/week UE ended back in August and there is nothing in the new bill giving back pay to those people. The new bill slashes unemployment benefits by half of what they got in March but still gives businesses their full bailout that they got in the first bill- you don’t seem to have any problem with those handouts though.

I did not apply for any of the business loans in Canada, could still get a 20k forgivable with 60k loan though. We almost doubled our revenue from last year with the meager workers we found.

The benefits were definitely not to encourage people to stay home, it was for anyone whose income was affected by Covid and couldn’t earn a living. Anyone who could have worked or lied and didn’t try to find work, could technically have to pay it back.
