Bad timing on NIO... if you only could have held out a bit longer

True man. Like @TSWpoker1 said, I was bout 2 months behind on my NIO timing. Yes held as long as I cd w margin and got ate by margin. Went bust on NIO around $1.58/share before I had the chance to climb out. That’s the price u pay when u play w margin.
So far RH has been treating me alright. Up bout 50% overall this year. Been buying w every spare dollar I hv and will continue to buy as long as I can avg down. Out of the 10 stocks I own, there are only a couple where I can avg down atm. The rest are doing great. No plans to add any stocks to portfolio. Just gonna roll w the 10 I hv.

Dude weed is never going to make a comeback get your money in something else. That's just a waste of time. It's like saying when will rice make a comeback.

Yeah invest in future technologies like VR or something. Weed will make a market rebound once it's legalized on the federal level, which neither party has any plans of doing so not anytime soon.

Weed industry is so dysfunctional right now with black markets triple the size of legal markets in some legalized States.....I'm sure there are short term opportunities based on beliefs...but I don't like chasing dysfunctionality.

From an outsider it's an industry I'd avoid. Growing premium weed is really easy once you have the set up. Seems like the only way to differentiate is marketing

To clarify weed will make a market rebound in anticipation of federal legalization. Once it's actually legalized it will probably correct and go down some. Buy the rumor and sell the news.

Weed hype is over. Now that people have realized there's nothing special about it and it's basically no different than corn.

Guess yall missed the part about weed being removed as a controlled substance. Granted, the senate will have to bring it to a vote (lol) - but we are closer to nationwide legalization as it's ever been. Of course, the states would still have to make their own decisions, but I wouldn't put it past Trump to pull this card last min to get extra votes.

Bagz story of late: since our fight, he still getting by where he can. He was living w a mutual friend w the agreement to fix up house while he stays there. His drinking got in the way and shotty work cost the mutual friend money. Kicked him out. Bags been staying on a gravel floor in another mutual friend’s garage.
Yesterday, Bagz tried to get some gutter material from the house. Alvie (mutual friendship.homeowner) called the cops. Not sure who bought the material, but Alvie feels Bagz owes for the last few months while he lived there.
Cops hv his number, but can’t track him down. Owner of gravel floor garage guy said he had to go somewhere else. He texted me wanting to put stuff in the warehouse.
Not sure where he is atm, but I def know where this is heading. Because he saw my raised loft area in the warehouse, soon he may b living in my warehouse. Dang, I was wanting to set up a poker lab there! Who knows...the Christian me says maybe I shd b helping my friend?

Always try to help if there is hope.

You can't help someone who isn't trying to help themselves. He's not going to get better if you put him up in your warehouse loft. Sometimes people need to hit rock bottom to change. Do not let Bagz stay in your loft. God helps those who help themselves.

Lack of legislation isn't the reason the prices crashed.

You make it sound like more regulation which will likely also increase competition will somehow magically make the prices rebound.

Went red this month in stocks. Didn’t sell anything. Just lowered cost avg on a few stocks. Honestly, I like my spot going forward. Gonna b ok.



Bank Acct:
All bills paid up and nothing big due. We hanging on and getting by. I find myself starting to sacrifice even more in hopes of accomplishing this goal.

Barely enough for a large pizza. But hey, I gotta bout $5 in change down there.
