Hi guys i decided that i will only update once a week with a bit bigger update. Checking my results all the time messes up with my mental game.

So see you in a week

Sometimes I had the same feeling. When I had a losing session for example, sometimes I didn't wanted to post my results and wait for upswing. That messes up with mental game because you think "I have to win soon to post again" but it is also player depended how affects the mindset and the mental game. Have a good week man.

Hey guys Decided to give 50nl a shot again. Will start tommorow. Probably a 10 buy in shot. I also got 18k FPP that i wont cash them until i reach supernova, so i guess if you add their value to my bankroll it goes around 3000$ like i wanted in order to move up.

My volume is low this month but i have no problem with that. I played only good tables and only when i felt good to play.

Will have very strict rules for my move to nl50. Even if i dont manage to win it, i want to be happy with the way i played, grind back at nl25 and become a better player until i win 50nl.

-Only good tables
-2 buy in winstop
-2 buy in stoploss
-2 hour max per session

NL50 Goals for February: Only play on A game. No money goals, no volume goals.

Lets see how nl50 goes see you in about a week.

This month results :

And my overall 25nl results:

Read all pages, great thread!! You've been switching between 6max and FR sometimes, what are your thoughts of that ? I'm playing FR micro but alot of people recommend to play 6max instead

Thanks man im glad you liked it. I prefer FR because im better at it, also i think from a rake paid to money won perspective its smarter to play FR in the micros. there is the arguement that in 6max you can have a bigger winrate, but i doubt its worth it in the micros, since you can easily have 8bb+/100 winrate in FR if you study enough. so my plan right now is to play FR until i reach stakes that i no longer have tables for FR, then i will mix it with 6max.

Hey guys. 50nl is going fine so far. Running a bit below EV but its ok. In the first days that i started 50nl i was also mixing some 25nl too, but i stopped that now and i play only 50nl.

50nl impressions so far: More good regs, the top regs are a lot better than the top regs of nl25, less fish, around the same amount of 3betting, but a lot more 4bet+shoving.

I bought notecaddy but i cant even use it with my PC. I am having a lot of pc problems and it is tilting, im trying to find a way to buy a new one, but i will not cashout from my bankroll.

I will update again when 10k hands are played. See you

New Goal: Play a total of 50.000 hands in 50NL, reevaluate your plans after the hands are played, depending on the results.

Goal Progress: 4645 / 50.000

Hello, 50nl goes great so far, i think i have improved since my last failed shot at nl50, and i think i can safely grind 50nl now.

Also putting a bit more volume and i will keep trying to increase it slowly.

Goal Progress (Play 50k hands in 50nl) : 10.000 / 50.000

Towards the middle/end of your 2 hour session, you'll have the correct sample-size of hands on your HUD to be able to categorize your opponents well and thus play better. Isn't it a little counter-productive to end your session so soon after that point?
Great progress man, waiting to see how you've done at 50NL after 20k hands.
You really think an 8bb+/100 winrate is sustainable 8-tabling FR at 25NL?

Hey man thanks for the nice words. My winrate after 2 hours starts to decline so i think its worth it and most of the players there play everyday so its not like you will have no sample.

yeah i believe in 25nl with good table selecting 8bb/100 is possible long term

Hey guys how are you

Bankroll:

Grinding my 50k hands goal, it goes fine so far, i learn many new things and i think i improve a lot here. My mental game is better now but i still had some hands where i played my B game. But at least no more degen nights playing 16 hours in the row losing 20 buyins (for now at least )

In a few days i will also upgrade my pc so it will make my grinding a bit easier and i will also be able to use notecaddy finally.

In the past when i was in progress of a goal i was thinking a lot about what goals i will set in the future, but now i prefer to put 1 main goal and focus on it, and think nothing about my next goal to not distract myself, after i complete it i will have all the time i want to think of the best goal to follow next.

See you when 30.000/50.000 hands are played happy grinding

Goal Progress (Play 50k hands in 50nl) : 20.795 / 50.000

You're doing very well. How many tables do you play right now? When you moved up the stakes in the past, for example from 5NL to 10NL, did you re-start with 1 table at 10 NL and then added tables again or did you start with the same amount of tables you were playing at 5NL? Daily hand reviews and studying or weekly? How much time to spend on table selection vs actual playing when playing 8+hour sessions? How often do you look at table stats to see if you should change tables?
I know that's a lot of questions but please try to answer whenever you're able.

Really happy to see that you are doing well keep it up )

One question: What do you do with your VPP and FPP , you use them to get your bankroll up , to take shots or you just cashout them ?

good luck

Hey, right now i play 5-7 tables with strict table selecting.

No when i moved up i didn't start with 1 table, but i reduce the tables i play a bit, until i feel more comfortable with my stakes played.

I dont know exactly how much time i spend table selecting, i look for tables where i have at least 1 recreational player on my right. (at least 35 vpip)

I dont look at overall table stats, if there is no fish on my right i leave.

When my session has hands that trouble me i review them, i would say i study hands around 2-3 times a week. when i was playing 10nl and below i was studying all the time.

Right now i just try to play at my A game with good table selection, studying books and videos is great but imo its a lot more beneficial when you play below 10nl, after you can beat 25nl by at least 6bb, its more about playing in your A game and table selecting good, and like 5% studying. (at least thats what i think now, maybe my opinion changes in the future)

If i start not winning at my stakes then the study % should increase.

i hope i answered your questions good luck

thanks a lot i cash my VPP bonuses instantly to boost my bankroll, and i save my FPP to exchange them at the biggest multiplier, and will probably use them to boost my bankroll too.

Make sure you put your applications and OS on a SSD.

Are you getting QHD monitors? If not wouldn't hurt to have a graphics card that can handle them for future upgrades. I got a graphics card that can handle two ultra high def monitors for about $250.
