Thanks. Yeah it was insane how no one was busting out. I think at our table the short stack w/ the worst hand won like 5 or 6 times. I almost made a miraculous comeback after losing 2 all ins, but it wasn't meant to be I guess. Got the day off tomorrow. Gonna decompress and go watch a movie or something. One of the most enyoyable "challenge" threads I've read. I'm sure I'd enjoy playing in a cash game with you but Kyyd is right - when you can win at cash should probably stick to it - nice to dream about hitting the big score but it is pretty much like the lottery at least in IMO.

I'm going to try and post some of the hands I had from yesterday that I didn't get to post.

Villain is a white male around 60 and has about 19k and Hero has about 27k.
Blinds 150-300 25

PF: Villain raises UTG to 850, folds to Hero who calls with A7 on the button.

Flop(2400): 456
Villain bets 1k, Hero calls. At the time I was planning on repping diamonds as well, but in hindsight it might've been a bad idea.

Turn(4400): 3
Villain bets 2k, Hero raises to 7k, Villain thinks for about 15 seconds and calls with standard old man defiant body language like he can't be bullied.

River(18400): 6
Villain checks, Hero goes all in, Villain tanks for about 2 min. then calls with AA

This was first hand after I got table changed to a new table. Hero has about 39k and villain has about 25k. Blinds 400-800 100. Villain is a white male about 65.

PF: Villain opens UTG to 2500, Hero calls in HJ w/ KJ, bb calls.

Villain in this hand I later found out is some kid named Josh Field aka JJProdigy. I had no clue who he was and still don't. Apparently he was some online cheater or something. He's the same guy who cracked my JJ w/ 69o by sheer tyranny of will making the flop 5 7 8r. Apparently he cheats live as well. Anyways we are close in stacks around 60k or so. Blinds 700-1400 200.

PF: Hero opens UTG+1 to 3100 w/ AK, guy to my left calls, JJProdigy makes it 9500 on the button, folds back to Hero who thinks for about 30 seconds and then makes it 18100, fold, JJProdigy goes all in, Hero calls. We have the same hand and chop it.

Here's a hand I misplayed on the turn by betting too much. I didn't allow him to make a mistake.
Villain is a young white male probably in mid 20s. I've seen him around a bunch and give him credit to be capable of alot of things. He has like 45k and Hero has about 55k. Blinds 500/1k 100

PF: Villain opens UTG+1 to 2k, folds to Hero in the bb who makes it 6k w/ AA, Villain calls after about 5 seconds.

Flop(13400): A K 8
Hero bets 7k, Villain calls quickly.

Turn(27400): K
Hero bets 18300, Villain tank folds. I should've bet 11500. Who knows if he's telling the truth, but later on he told me had AQ. I never said what I had.

I don't see the value in betting the turn at all in the last hand. What do you expect him to continue with? I think there are at least 2 much better lines. I liked everything else.

Like I said, I misplayed the turn. Overall I disagree. There are two viable lines, but I don't think they are better much less being MUCH better. I think checking vs a fairly competant villain becomes transparent further down the road and you lose more value. I think you give yourself the best chance to stack most thinking villains by leading twice rather than checking. Because most decent villains will be careful and once you take that line it just looks so nutted. Leading twice is def better. I think betting is clearly best, but the sizing should be much smaller. Yeah I might get another bet out of him by checking, but then I have to check the river and hope he bets. By betting he continues with everything he called with on the flop. His range doesn't really become weakened with the K pairing. If anything he has a decent amount of K's in his range and will stack off much easier if I lead again rather than if I CR turn or check/call, then check.

I'm fairly confident if I posted this hand from villain's perspective giving him AQ and posted it in HSMTT most people would have a lot more difficulty pinpointing my range on the line I took rather than if I had checked turn and then put in a big bet later down the road. Though I agree vs a standard lvl 1 or 2 thinking donk your line of checking turn to feign weakness and then calling and leading river or going for a river CR is fine.

Yesterday had a very relaxing day of doing nothing. Woke up early today and ready to crush this ME. Hope I run as well as I did in the 1125, just minus the couple hands towards the end.

We're ending the day after 500/1k 100. If I can end the day around 70-75k I'd be pretty happy with that.
