Hi, been playing poker for about 15months now since I turned 18.
Have had my struggles and feats, and am now at a point where I can beat 50z stars (6.4bb/100 over 113k hands). I broke even for last 30k or so due to some tilt issues and not focusing on actually making money, being too focused on quality of play, trying to improve my overall strategy in every spot except the important ones (folding lol). Also had a ~breakeven struggle grinding at 200nl PokerBros staked at 1.88bb/100 over 130k hands. Am pretty confident that if I play reg tables and focus on playing A game I can get to 200nl pretty quickly, be it a lower winrate (offset by reduced rake a bit tho). Short term goal is to get to 200nl, then after that I hope to get 1-on-1 CFP from some midstakes?/highstakes player to get closer to longterm goal of highstakes+8 figures from poker+investing

So am starting a little aggressive BRM challenge for a little bit, starting roll $2500:
  • 50NL "defence line": $2000
  • 100NL: $2500-3200
  • 100NL defence line $3500 (so once I get roll to $3500 through 1.5 bi at 200nl, 100nl will be my next fallback stake officially)
  • 200NL $3200-4800 (so if I fall to $3500 I go back down to 100nl)

50z graph past couple months:
First day went well (played 36% 50z, 64% 100nl) +$404, +$443 in EV.
Graph:
Roll: $2943

Today went very well, I started off the day with a great 2 hour session at 100nl, made 3.5bis allowing me to then start to take the aggressive ~3.5bi shot at 200nl. Then only got time to play a 70minute session late at night where i played only 2 table 200nl and 2 100nl, and it went good as well! Hopefully sunrun continues, feeling a lot of improvements in my game recently.
+$797 today, total roll $3701

GL , should be a fun challenge - Never be afraid to be passive with bankroll no need to be in a rush to climb stakes; they will be there no longer how long it takes you- but if its a challenge you want to push yourself for then it's still worth a try

I think the challenge aspect of it is helping my growth a lot, im focused on playing better quality over quantity. Meditating briefly before sessions, only playing short concise table selected games . It's good in that the constant progress and variety of skill opponents makes for much better learning as well, before i was auto piloting at 50z not making as good use of my time

Day 3, very swingy day today, didn't run great and made a lot of big spews, overall ok with my play, was trying to implement a lot of new stuff at once and didn't play top game but still ended up making profit so I can't be upset. Going to review and get back in the streets

Ending the BR challenge, I kept losing all my profit in 200z which was the initial idea of the challenge but I'm getting bit tired of it. I did run bad in 200z but as always there are things to be worked on so going to just grind 100z which I consistently beat and maybe throw in some 200nl. I have a potential CFP lined up starting in next couple days I'm very excited for so would stop then anyways.

Exclusively 200zoom - app games I didn't play much but I didn't like, I was playing there with no rb as well so it wasnt that profitable
