From small loser to HUGE winner in 2014! From small loser to HUGE winner in 2014!

Background

I'm a web designer living in the Las Vegas, Nevada area. I've worked nine to five with my current company for the past year and I've decided it's time to make a life change. I want to experience long term financial freedom doing something I love! What better medium to accomplish this goal than poker?

I've been playing poker online for around a month and a half now (although I've been a fan of the game for several years) and I've thrown away around $400. I'll chalk this up to a combination of poor bankroll management and the learning losses that everyone experiences as a new player.

Now I am turning things around. I want poker to become more than a hobby and with hard work and dedication I will make this a reality. In this thread I will keep track of my progress daily as a poker player. Consider this my forum to stay on track with my goals and reflect upon my experiences!

Goals

I will not be setting monetary goals, but rather daily skill-related goals that I can measurably obtain. To begin, I will use the goals below and post my success or failure in completing them on a daily basis. These goals are subject to change as my game progresses.

Play poker for 3 hours (8 hours on weekends)
Study poker for 1 hour (2 hours on weekends)
Post two hands on 2+2
Discuss two hands on 2+2

The Challenge

I have deposited $150 on Bovada where I will be playing all of my poker for the foreseeable future. I will update my total balance on a daily basis.
