Hello everyone!

Backstory and Goals
I've won quite a lot in bursts on various poker sites, as well as tilting off some ocassionally in shot taking adventures in every game type imaginable. I consider myself to be a solid player, but I usually get sick of grinding a single game type, so I'm looking for some variety.

Games I've played:
NL Holdem
PLO
Triple Draw
Everything in HORSE individually
NL08
Sit and Go's
45 mans
180 mans
Massive MTT's
Badugi

Therefore, I'm going to be playing mixed games (predominantly 8 game) on Stars, where I'll be able to stick to the grind and hopefully have a pretty big edge.

To save myself from tilting, I'm going to limit myself to 2/4 to start with. That means 2/4 in all the limit games and 0.5/1 in the NL and PL rounds. The roll I'm depositing is only going to be $500. I have more available if things go badly, so I'm not going to be that conservative with BRM. When I get to the higher stakes, then I'll ensure my roll stays very padded.

My other hobby is table football, where I'm reasonably highly ranked in the UK, and always looking to improve both here and internationally. As such, I need to travel to tournaments across Europe and visit the States a few times over the next couple of years. I own a couple of tables already, but any excess profit I'll happily spend on another one.

Summary

- $500 starting roll with plenty in reserve
- Fairly aggro BRM plan
- Starting at $2/4 8 game
- Earn money to travel the world playing table football and buy a new table

[ ] Stage 1 - Reach $2000 - withdraw $500
[ ] Stage 2 - Reach $3500 - withdraw $1000
[ ] Stage 3 - Move up to $4/8 ... (undecided)

I'm hoping I can complete stage 1 pretty quickly, knowing how the guys at $2/4 play. I'm also currently at Goldstar on Stars with about 6k FPP's, so there will be some extra income from there.

First update after my first session and things have gone incredibly well.

Starting bankroll - $500
Ending bankroll - $805.75 (inc $50 stellar bonus)
FPP total - 7238

I may try going for supernova if I can move up in stakes fast enough, just to take advantage of the reward system as much as possible.

Played 2 tables of 2/4 8 game and near the end of the session also opened a 3/6 stud8 table with 4 players I had marked with my 'moron' colour tag.

Most profit probably came in the big bet games, but I went positive in every single game, so I'm very happy with the way I'm playing at the moment. Triple draw was a consistently great game too, I'm loving how people play that game at these limits.

Hand for discussion (I'll try and put one of these in each session update and try to vary the games)

Thoughts on the line? His small flop bet confused the hell out of me, but I wanted to try and build a pot for the later streets. Obv horrible sweat on the river.

My second day of play and another good result. Once again played a mix of 2/4 8 game and 3/6 stud 8.

Quick update as I'm tired and have work nice and early in the morning.

Starting bankroll - $805.75
Ending bankroll - $1056.85
FPP total - 8848

PLO hand today against two 50bb stacks.

I can go either way on the flop but multiway I prefer the check behind with the nut draw and very little else. I bet out on the turn as everyone seems weak, then have an easy decision on the river. I love spots like this where you just know they have the 2nd nuts.

Been a few days since I updated.

Went back to my parents for the weekend to have a nice relaxing couple of days (and to get my laundry done for free + free food and drink obv).

Soooo haven't really played a huge amount the last couple of days.

Still, Wednesday, Thursday and tonights sessions have put me way ahead of where I thought I'd be. I've been happily mixing up my games too, playing some heads up plo, stud8 full ring and tournaments. I managed to cash 4th in one of the nightly $33 HORSE events for a couple of hundred which felt good.

Starting bankroll - $1056.85
Ending bankroll - $1950.26
FPP total - 14,082

Getting really close to platinum star now which is also a nice little extra bonus.
