Hi, I've decided to start a challenge on the Shasta tables on Everest poker. Shasta tables are free any tables limit Holden you can play 4 an hour

If you reach step 7 you win a real money token.

Plan is to get 10$+ then move on to grinding it up on cash tables, partly inspired by Jason sommervile and xflixx

Well kind of made progress with this sooner than I was expecting.
This was my second attempt at climbing the Shasta mountain, the first time around I played about over 6,000 hands at the Shasta sngs, over 26 sessions.

First time around I got up to the last step won the token, and brought into a double or nothing (for lower vairance) and got bad beat, hmm the risks of playing with 1 buyin...

Then took a break for a good few weeks and started this challenge. I grinded a couple of the shasta's today then decided to enter a vip tournament, i played so many of them the first time round i earnt vip points lol. Managed to cash in the vip tournamnent for 10 euros, and took it to a double or nothing, and cashed.

So good news is my challenge on the shasta tables is now out of the penny sngs stage and the bankroll is sitting at $23.14 I want to grind this up now on the cash tables and really go for making a decent amount from it, that bankroll represents a tonne of work. It's been ages since i played on ipoker so micro cash should be fun.

The stats below are purely for the Shasta challenge so far as I never played anything else on Everest. 6798 hands in never felt so good, will have a think about parameters for rest of challenge and post again in next day or so.

Managed to find a screenshot i took before i reloaded computer, so thought i'd post for posterity here - this was about 2/3 of the way into the challenge. After this was taken I continued to grind and converted the tickets into the last step (10 euro) and lost that ticket to a bad beat, before finally conquering it today, with the help of the vip points mtt.

Just to add the double or nothings i've played are because you are awarded a 10 euro token and have to enter a 10 euro game, i wasn't gambling it up for the sake of it!
