heh my fellow country man was "taking a stab" at 30s today morning, he messed up his tn and after session realised he was up 6k, turns out he played 17 300s and won like 5.8k, then freerolled into jupiter top3 spot finishing his 20 block (2 second places, one 500) sick life

lol so it took him 20 buy ins to realize that he was spending 10 x the amount he was supposed to per buy in. good thing he didn't hit a downswing.

going into a day two of a lifeament today; how do i calculate nash (on holdem ressoureces) without being near a pricepool; do i do it like a winner take all? Or am i using the completely wrong tool...

i have 23bb with average being 40bb so prob need to reship more than to push but still...

Thinks it WTA if youre gonna look at it from a static math standpoint but most good players will have pretty sick future expectation so you should prob edge pass a bit, especially when youre calling off. Theres a ton of bis up top so taking thin edges to get a pwning stack can be good but you should prob only go for those thin edges when youre the one jamming and youre covering villain.

Had a pretty gross start to the month at 6m. Beyond standard swing for abi but still kinda gross dropping 3.5k over a few hours. Kinda funny how many times you run into regs in these games and run either great or ****ty vs them. Pretty sure I swore at L@P a good 10 times yesterday.

I think Ruse's reply back on this is really good, the only thing I'll add is that people play so terribly against shortstacks live, that you don't really have to press the issue too much and can sit back and just wait for spots to come along....I had someone who was actually competent (and I would guarantee was +ev in the $1675 WSOPc ME @ the Bike) r/f 2.5x bb to me when I 3b jammed 7.5bbs total....just so absurd the leaks live players have when dealing with shortstacks, your FE on short stacks is soooo much larger.

You also don't have to worry about balancing in almost all spots (pending playing in a very tough 10k+ BI with all regs on your table), like if you have 9bbs and AA just ****** minraise it, people aren't even going to suspect anything and you'll get flatters in almost all situations and you can just yik it in on the flop.

Oh and no worries on the derail, I much prefer to offer my opinion or thought process on anything other than 6m hypers, so I'll for sure always welcome and respond to posts like that. Doesn't even have to be poker related, I'll answer pretty much anything that I can answer without getting into legal trouble .

Well yesterday was a very frustrating day, got coolered all over the place and couldn't ever get anything going. Went out to dinner last night with king-nit, oct_c, Ruse, Jdalla/Jllama, Larissa and ICuMirin' at my personal favorite restaurant in Rosarito, Susannahs.

Was really good food as usual, Ruse runs the worst at CCR though in 4+ person groups and sfobvs he lost last night too, srry brah haha .

Anyway, it was ICuMirin's first day in Rosa, and he was down to go explore TJ with me so we went to HK and I gave him the ole intro to the Tijuana clubs, had a great time but was out pretty late and now it's 2:30pm and I haven't even played at all today haha . ICuMirin' has started his own pg&c thread which I think will be a good read, he already has posted a degen story (with pics!) along with a video tour of his place in Rosa, the thread can be found here

Anyway, gonna try to grind from 3pm until 8 or 9pm tonight, just straight through and then will try to have a couple brews and fall asleep at a reasonable hour and wake up at like 6-7am (late wake-up time for me) and grind as much as possible before about 4:30pm, then will be getting ready to go to TJ to meet one of my stripper friends for dinner and to chill for the night. Probably will end up taking most of Tuesday off as I'll have a really late night monday night and then my PA will be coming over at like noon to clean and grocery shop, cook etc. Combine that with the fact that I'm heading home on Feb 28th for my bday and to play the CPC $3200 ME, and I'm going to have a TON of hours to put in from the 6th-27th, highly doubt I hit the hours but I'm going to try my heart out.

Played a sesh of mostly 18s with a couple 9m hts, and a couple 45s/180s yesterday just to change it up since I've been getting owned at HTs and got absolutely soulcrushed, -51% roi and >100k chips under EV in 78 games .




Gonna do another sesh of 18m+ with a few 9m ht's to start the session today I think, can't go worse than yesterday

Besides studying and writing a blog update, also booked my flight home for Feb 27th, this is gonna be insane trying to get 180 hours before Feb 27th, especially with the really slow start to the month I've had....going to try my heart out though! Will be a lot of lockdown sessions with me only leaving the house to get food quick or to go run/walk on the beach.

Gotta shower and get ready, meeting my stripper friend at 6pm and eating at mack by chan's and then going out to either a nightclub or bar and then back to my place, should be a fun night!
