lol nm there is a server restart that ddnt show up til now in my lobby. Not tired at all and kinda pissed.

Gonna go ahead and give myself an extra 90 minutes so have til tmrw 130am server time. Games gonna be down 3 hours or so, so seems like a fair compromise. Those that remember when i paid a fr that i was 10 seconds late achieving can attest to how i stick to my word so hopefully noone will have a problem w it. If so lmk and we can work something out. Heading to the Ball St/NIU game tonight with 5 of my buddies from HS who go to NIU (uni is only about 30 mins from my hometown). Should be a great game, 8-1 Ball St vs our #18 ranked, 9-0 NIU Huskies, winner wins the MAC, so biggest game of the yr for us so far!

Gonna be cold as ***, kickoff temperature with the windchill is sposed to be 5 degrees / -15C with it getting colder as the night goes on, gonna be a brutal one!





Waiting on my buddy to pick me up as I don't have a vehicle back home, then we're going to get our pregame on (sun), hopefully will be so wasted I don't notice the cold

Just got home a bit ago, bummed a ride off one of my buddies heading back to my hometown, easy game.

Was a really sick, competitive game and am super happy I got to go and even better that we won! Keeping that BCS bowl dream going!

It was sweet, my 2 buddies who I stayed with always said they lived close to the stadium, but I didn't realize the stadium was literally the backyard of the apartment complex they lived in, 3 minute walk to the student entrance!

Snapped a pic after the game, hard to see as the stadium lights were so damn bright, but gives you an idea of how close they live (And I was quite drunk taking this )




With them being so close to the stadium too, it meant our apartment was where people came to pregame, and I think about an hour before the game started there were about 25 people hanging around shooting the ****, drinking, playing beer pong etc between my buddies' apt and the 2 girls who lived across the hall in that apt; both of whom were really cool and pretty cute . But yea, besides 3 of my other buddies who came to the came, everyone else I met I didn't know at all, so was cool getting to meet some new people. The 2 girls across the hall couldn't believe I lived in Mexico and played poker for a living, the 1 girl was telling my story to other people before I even got the chance .

Game was sick as I said, Jordan Lynch played outstanding, throwing for 300+ yds, running for 125, and getting 4 TDs. He escaped heavy pressure twice on 3rd and long in the 2nd half to keep drives going, both of which resulted in TDs. Link to both plays below

Normal presenting of the colors but they also honored a few veterans in attendance as Veterans Day and the week surrounding it is a big deal where I'm from; it's us farm boys from the midwest and south for the most part out there fighting the battles we don't even want, all to try to keep our country safe. The entire game, every commercial break, they were presenting more veterans, showing clips alumni or people from the NIU area made where they are stationed around the world, etc, was pretty sweet

After the game, just went back to my buddies' apt and played some beer pong and sat around and shot the ****, good times with some good friends from HS (sun). Really glad I got to go, because I haven't ever attended college/university, so I've missed out on some awesome experiences in that regard, was fun getting to have a taste of it last night!

Will be recovering today for most part, not really hungover, just super super tired and I'm sure I'll end up sick, it was cold as **** out there!

Yeah got like 11k vpps in a 29 hr period. Extra pressure from the restart will be beneficial in the longrun I think as Im sure Im gonna be grinding up agaisnt the clock come late December.

College is the shiz. There's plenty of abroad programs that you could crush poker and still get a college experience and education.

I enrolled at a local junior college because I didn't think I wanted to go to college yet, was already heavily into poker (albeit I sucked and even sucked still wen I moved to Mexico, but had made 50k+ in the yr before moving) and that was taking up most of my focus. I went to jr college a couple times max during the semester, didn't like it, and quit.

No I don't wish I would have gone as of right now, and I can always go in the future if I'd like to, even if just to get my degree taking online classes or something like that; getting a 'real' college experience isn't hugely necessary to me and I've had some great times living in Vegas and Mexico.

The only regret I do have is I wish I would have put more work into my game and also played more hours the past 3 yrs; now my sole goal is to work hard and make good money, along with eating better/losing weight etc.

For sure, and that could be an option down the road, but right now I have 0 intentions of going to school in the near future (next 2-3 yrs)

I sure with you living in Vegas and Mexico you have had more than your fair share of the "college life". You dont have to go college to gain life experiences.
