ended up only winning 5 buyins /$1100 over 4k hands (had the conversion wrong earlier) - ran 2 buyins below ev. was up 12 buyins at one point.

this **** is so soft I'm going to add it to my grind. 4 table zoom and 2-4 table ignition. they're doing a promo for the zoom game where the most hands played this month gets $7500, 3rd is $5k, 10th is $1k, etc. not enough on it's own to entice me but my bb/100 is likely 10+ in what is effectively $200nl with a crazy structure, so seems very +ev to add to the grind. I'm in 6th in the hand race rn, goal is 1st by the end of the day then just maintain


btw, I think some ppl are imagining a standard 3 blind game with a sb/bb/button blind. that's not what I'm playing. this is a 1 blind game with antes. max buyin is 1500cny. everyone antes 10cny ($1.5), the button posts 10cny, and action starts utg. it's wild. short stackers are really brutal tho.. so far i'd say close to 50% of pool is opening to 3x or less which makes almost atc defendable since you have position against every other position. I love it haha

gl all, super fun format so I encourage anyone outside of the usa to check out natural8 and give it a try. it's different enough to be new and interesting (and soft) but not some weird variant like powerup or split deck. it's just normal holdem with antes and a different blind structure

thought I was going to bed early to get on the morning zoom grind but the pool popped off a few hours ago. I'm up to 8700 hands, good for 1st place so far. 2nd has 7200, 3rd 6500. going to bed and hopefully only sleeping 6-7 hours so I can get in 6 or so hours of peak zoom pool before it dies in the afternoon.

so far I'm +11.5 buyins at this new zoom game (+15 buyins ev) which comes about to about $2500. not bad for the first day the game type was released lol

though I have to admit today was my first losing day in a bit. lost $3600 on ignition (3 buyins at 500nl, 2 buyins at 1knl), so -$1100 on the day. a few coolers, couple 4 outers, nothing to worry about. just a bump in the road

I played 9900 hands total today, new record for me. loved every second of it tbh and I don't say that about every grind

sick volume you have to grind to take it down but it is really worth it man, keep it up!

ran kinda ****ty, played kinda ****ty at times too. the 2-3 good regs are really annoying to play against and got me a little tilted. also just couldn't hit a flop in a 3bet pot. frustrating session. dropped 4 buyins total, -3 buyins ev over 3500 hands.

ended the session with a 1k hand lead on 2nd, 2.5k lead on 3rd. it's 2pm rn, gunna chill for a bit, nap until 11pmish my time then grind peak hours until 8-9am hopefully
