Today is the big day! The settlement on my first ever property investment. I know I have already been told if it's not bringing income in it's not an investment, however, at least money isn't going out the door renting like I am at the moment. I will be paying off my own mortgage which which at least means I'm closer to owning an asset worth while in life.

On the poker scene, same as last week, ended up taking off last night and same again tonight. Spent last night with the GF and we had an awesome time, went to Gold Class cinema to see Horrible Bosses 2 (wasn't too bad for a sequel), went and watched my good mate DJ at his gig and then out for a late dinner at this Greek restaurant we love. Had lamb shoulder with potatoes and a really nice Greek bottle of red wine. Spent around $400 in total last night on our date night but it was worth it, got breakfast made for me this morning, happy wife, happy life as they say.

Final session on Saturday was a profitable one again albeit frustrating. I played 30mins on $2/$3 for a loss of $40 then a seat opened on a good $5/$5 game so across I went. I ran up a nice profit there for $580 and then the game turned to **** 5 hours later so I went back to $2/$3. I bought in for only $170 to see what I could do with it and got it in AQ v A6cc for $145 pre, held up, $290 in front, now, let's do some damage. I get QQ for the third time in 2 days in pre against AK suited and the ****ing A spikes in the window again. That's 3 times, in 2 days, that QQ has busted by AK for me, whorish. So I picked up and left for a total profit of around $360 I think it was, exact numbers below...

I've only ever stuffed around online apart from when I had a proper crack at HUSNGs. I was coached for 18 months and managed to pay my way through the coaching and end up around break even after something like 20k games I think.

It's a limp fest in both games, punish those limpers!

How would you say the games differ at Jupiters compared to Treasury?

Update on the first session back in the room after Sunday/Monday off. It was a good night, managed to get away with around $900, all of that coming from the $5/$5 game. I actually won around $1,100 on there, however I dropped $200 or something at $2/$3.

I made a horrible call at $5/$5 last night too, I really should have folded my over pair of Kings, but I couldn't work out what this **** had. I really thought I might be in front. In the end the hand he had made sense enough, but when he donked into me for a sizeable bet on the turn, I really should have known that I was beat. It was an expensive mistake too, cost me $600.

Other than that, the session was fairly straight forward, made some bluffs, got it in good most of the night and continued the great start to December. A good month is ALWAYS welcomed, but with the purchase of the new unit, it couldn't come at a better time, needing to buy all furnishings as we (girl and I) have only a bed haha.

Got all the stats below, but decided to include a screenshot of my poker income app along with a quick shot of my stack last night.

Not a lot of difference, harder to get at game at Jupiters, less tables, smaller player pool also. The game play is very similar though.
