Volume is somewhat low, but not terrible, playing really well and kicking people's ass. Roll is at $6.8k

I am really proud with my more professional approach to poker recently, some days ago I saw 100z was very bad with very few recs(was way worse than 200z), so decided to not play it and play 50z instead, could go to 200z but my roll is quite small, so I prefer sticking to 200z when it's like insanely soft only atm.

Btw, reached 100k hands in the year

It seems that fixing my overfolding leak was insane, finally printing insane amounts vs whales/aggro fish/aggro regs. It's so good to be a station haha, specially when I know how to fold hands(and tbh I just love folding haha), so I just don't call people because I'm pissed off and overfold in spots where they massively underbluff. Tbh I still think overfolding is always better than overcalling in the stakes I played, but making both good folds and good calls is what we wanna do.

Some hands

H1: I wasn't sure about my sizing, but thought that I still wanted to valuebet 2p+, so went with that sizing with most of my range, excellent blockers bro lol. I really didn't expect to see jams in there, now I see why a lot of people go small to induce. I never use induce sizings for the sake of induce, it has more to do with what I wanna valuebet and how many bluffs I have in my range(and am perceived to have).

nice graph! grats on the 4k so far

Are you always peeling J9s vs a 4bet? Seems like it should be fairly low in your range, you have so many better combos to defend. Presuming you're not 3betting crazy wide in SB.

gj on the results rapi!

The 4bet was pretty small. If the guy is 4betting a lot, it can be +EV. It might be better to not even 3bet if that's the case though.

His sizing was very small and it was very likely that he had bluffs in his range. J9s is a strong call vs a 4-bet, way better than 9Ts, KQs, KTs.

Thanks!

Yeah, not 3-betting very light vs people who 4-bet a lot is a good idea, but sometimes I don't see his 4-bet stat before 3-betting(which is in my pop-up, but not in the HUD)
04-11-2019 , 01:41 PM
it's not a better call than T9s KQs and KTs

My bad, was talking about 98s and not 9T, because of QTJ/QTx/QJx/JTx boards where AK just destroy it.

KQ performs badly vs underbluffed 4-bet ranges and reasonable with polarized ranges with overbluffs, obv can't be that bad. Now vs people in between that 4-bet AQ it does really badly.

KT imo performs badly vs people who use monker ranges that will use a lot of ATo/KJo as bluffs in that spot(on top of that being awful vs underbluffs and not performing greatly vs overbluffs)

All these hands look good, looks like you’ve improved a lot. Overfolding was definitely a leak and on a site with screen names, the more hands you get against people the more idea you’ll have about who does what. Hope you’re more taking as it is more valuable than a hud.

I’m torn about when to induce as well, for now I randomize bc in an anon pool it’s harder to know which guys will bluff. I LOVE it in this spot though; I think your play is perfect here.

Nice to see the results start to come, it was only a matter of time. Keep up the good work!

* I will call J9ss sooner than most suited broadways.
04-11-2019 , 02:57 PM
honestly if you feel someone is underbluffing then you should just fold, J9s isn't +EV against an underbluffed range, KTs and T9s and other suited broadways aren't +EV either, even low pocket pairs which are always calls against 4bets become -EV
04-11-2019 , 03:55 PM
Call a 4bet oop with J9s is bad,not even close. Nice results Rapid gl!

Finland is trying to quit speed, I've made a bet with him (he asked, I hate prop bets) that he wouldn't be capable of staying out of speed for 30 days. So far he hasn't relapsed yet (but still doing coke -.-). He miss this forum obv, it's very likely that this was the only place he had social contact with normal people besides his family/his doctors.

He still couldn't move out of the hospital, don't know why.
04-12-2019 , 01:37 PM
Why doesn't Finland just make a new account?
or Mirage for that matter.

Also, how is he getting all of the drugs if he's in a mental hospital?

They got their IP banned.

It looks it's quite easy for him to get those, he can go outside.

It stands to reason that if they were IP banned that when outed, they'd be IP banned again.

Good job lately, Rapid

Been out of the loop lately, did they go out with a bang?

Obv wondering if there's a trainwreck to go read.
