Hey everybody,

I've been a long time lurker here and decided it's time to become active. Setting up a goals thread will put some pressure on my to learn from the forum and stay consistent. I started playing NLHE a couple of years ago in my first year of Uni, putting in relatively small deposits and running it up, got to 1000$ a few times and just under $2500 another time but ended up either withdrawing to pay bills/spend or blowing it playing above my bankroll limits.

Recently just began learning PLO, and I'm falling in love with it just as much as I have with NLHE. Finished Jeff Hwang big play strategy today and I'm going to get right into playing PLO.

My goals will be ;

* Run up $100 starting at nl5 to $50,000 by the end of next year.

* Watch at least one strategy video per day on PLO.

* Read one book on Poker a week / not refined to PLO (I'd like to learn about all types of poker games eventually)

* Get to Elite status on I-Poker.

* Play 8 hours a day

Unfortunately the IPoker network has been shutting down on me all day so I can't get many hands in. Going to play a live game soon , if the network is back up I'll make up the hours in the late night.

Also watched a Joe Hachem vid on PLO 6-max that was pretty interesting.
