Thanks man. I have to say I played much better yesterday. Reviewing hands and getting some advice is a very underrated part of the game. I had been putting myself in those spots before and losing a flip and then capitulating into a tilty monster. Gladly I help it together yesterday everytime I faced some adversity.

Just ran 4.36km. Would have been longer but it started pissing rain again. Weather has been very changeable lately. Gonna fire up a session shortly after breakfast. A new IRL challenge for me starts today. I'm gonna attempt to not drink coffee. Gonna start with the rest of the week(Thursday-Sunday) and see how my body feels about it.

Lost like $300 bucks yesterday. Ran bad but played terrible also. Very spewy so got what I deserved. Added 4x 50's and bricked all of them. I'm hoping to get some traction and run good at the bigger buyins in the coming weeks to really see the bankroll start moving. Kinda feel stuck at the minute hovering between 2.5k and 3.8k for last few weeks. It is ofc just a standard stretch and just have to keep focusing on playing well and the results will take care of itself.

Bankroll: $2,980

Well another day at taking some shots at 50's and getting ****ing destroyed.
Have to drop back down to $5-20 buyins for now. It's getting a little bit demoralizing to keep getting ****ed at the higher buyin games in my schedule. Have to build again now to at least 3k before I start thinking of playing higher again. Maybe it would be a better idea to just grind out the full 5k at the smaller limits?? I just keep running into tops of villains ranges and losing the flips in the bigger games. Whatever, it is what it is. Finished 3rd in some turbo for $180.

Anyways i'm gonna go golfing tomorrow with two friends and drink some beer on the course.I'm a 6 handicap but haven't played in a while. Looking forward to it, should be great fun.

Bankroll:$2,396

EDIT: I will ofc be taking the shot at the $250 on sunday with the ticket I won.

any update on the milly? keep going man!
05-04-2020 , 12:17 PM
Just woke up this morning after a 17 hour session yesterday. I gave it my all but it wasn't meant to be on my first big sunday session in years I fired at everything but just couldn't get there when it mattered. Had 3 ft's but all were at the lower buyins. My best place finish was 3rd. It's a standard part of mtt variance but is annoying nonetheless.

Unfortunately the bankroll has hit it's lowest point in weeks so I am now going to introduce very strict bankroll management to get me to my goal. I had been firing shots and it didn't work out so now I'm gonna grind with a 150 BI rule. Anything below 150 BI's will not be on the schedule (I might just decide on 1 mtt a week to shot take which I think is healthy for motivation and something to look forward to )

The milly was a disaster. Here is a crucial hand early on which crippled me. I'm not sure if i'm supposed to find the fold here. Hard for my villain to have too many bluffs (KQss, KTss, K9ss ??) here but I really block all the value combos. I'm not expecting villain to float 44 here always. I don't think he ever raises Ax on the turn with the exception of A4 suited. He had 3b me twice already and was pretty active which makes me think he would 3b a lot of his suited aces this deep IP btn vs co. Also noteworthy was that his abi is $336 over a small sample. This lead me to lean towards call as he is actually capable of having bluffs in this spot and will view me as scared money probably.

Short session today after yesterdays marathon. I have one mtt left with $840 up top. Am currently 6/34. Let's get it!!

[IMG][/IMG]

I have to include 15's in my schedule as there isn't enough volume up to $12 buyins. I know I said 150 BI rule but it's close enough

5th $165. btn open I defend j10 flop j high I c/jam lose to AJ vs CL with 70% open range in that spot given ICM. Obviously run into top of his range as has been the case for past 3 weeks. He is bet folding the vast majority of his range on that flop and I just run into it again.

I bought a one month subscription to the upswing poker lab to try it out. Got a 50% discount on it and it will be good to get some study in.

Finished 2nd for $343.Fun final hand: remaining 3 players got it all in with AK,JJ and KK. I have JJ, CL has KK and shorty has AK. I flop the Jack and it looks like I will have 90% of chips heads up.Not to be as the case king hits the river :/ No biggie good result. Still have a few good stacks in play..

15th.These are the softest turbos I have ever played. Non showdown winnings is off the charts. These guys are folding so many hands it's crazy...Calling way way too tight.Shoving too tight. Anyways I lost 77<j9 for chiplead. Flopped a set and he goes runner runner for a backdoor straight all in pre with one of the only guys shoving even close to nash. Shoved a few hands without showdown and picked up some chips. Finally get it in for above average stack and lose A5ss<KQo.
