However, i think twice on your reasoning to check the flop. Not that its bad to check but why you would think there is no value to bet the dry flop. He should be able to have Qx and 6x, any PP and gutshot/bdfd right? Whats the harm to bet say 1/2pot considering even a small bet prices out anything that could get a call.
Its a 3b pot so its tough for him to really have much...lots of mid pairs and mostly hands that bricked the flop. I just dont feel like I get much value at all from betting here and would rather have him catch up a little on the turn and then start extracting value.
Plus this villain loves putting people on AK in 3b pots, especially "young kids" so by checking I implant that doubt in his mind and most pps are going to call 2 streets (big streets btw).
I guess I just feel like hes check folding so much here that I thought checking was going to be the best action on the flop.
