I had a similar experience recently. I didn't think there were that many active 2+2ers in my neck of the woods.

My backer an I are gunna try and make it out to Vegas for wsop, but I am in one of my buddies weddings at the end of June so timing is a little awkward. One thing I'm unsure of is just the expenses that go along with a month long trip out there.

If I can work everything out I'm there for sure.

So I can not believe that I forgot to post about one of my sessions, had one of the nicest guys I've played with to my right. Apparently he had won 10k in 2 days at winstar and was just having a really good playing cards.

I was able to get some decent action from him...he played like 5 hands in a row blind lol. He put me to the test on one hand where I had 2nd pair and the river paired the board and he shoved...I check called flop an turn while he was still blind then the river card pairs the bottom card and I check an he shoves for $500 lol. I ended up calling him and we chopped the pot...river counterfeited my kicker grrrrr.

My backer was at the table and he took the brunt of the variance from the blind hands. So the guy announces that if he wins this hand, as the cards were being dealt, that he was playing for the dealer. If he won the pot then it was all going to the dealer...even the money that he puts in the pot. The pot ended up hu with my buddy on the btn and the pot ended up swelling to about $400 and the river puts 4 cards to a straight. Luckily my buddy check behind on the river but the guy did hit his straight and tipped the entire pot to the dealer!!!!

The dealer was saying no at first and the floor got called over by the guy who tipped the pot. The dealer did end up taking the pot...probably made 3x as much in that one hand then he did all day.

So the guy gets up for about 15 minutes and comes back with a huge smile on his face. He put $10 in a slot machine and had a voucher for $105...he then puts that in the middle of the table in the next pot and folds lol...he said that the only stipulation was the winner had to give the dealer a good tip. The lady tipped the same dealer in the other hand like $70 or so. So the guy made over $500 from our table lol.

Then he gets up with exactly $200 and proceeds to put $50 in the middle of the next 4 hands when he wasn't even dealt in. It was one of the coolest two hours on the felt.

Well had a great session today ended up 1320 so almost 3 bi

I'll start posting a hand of the session in some of these updates.

So this guy had just come back and bought the button an for some reason I pick this spot to do my first straddle of the day there are 4 limpers and I look down at two black aces (lol I know) I raise the straddle to 50 and get 3 callers.

Almost as good of a flop as I could see T44 rainbow. I decide to check since not a lot beats me and there really isn't a whole lot that anyone could have but I love the T being out there. It checks to the button and he bets 100. He hasn't been on the table for long but he had already been felted so I figured he could have a little steam going on and I flat the 100, everyone else folds. 2 of spades putting a flush draw out there, I lead for 150 for a couple reasons I am really not repping anything and it gives him a chance to spaz out, which he does he shoves all in for 520 total I call and he says "****". 8 of spade river had me a little worried but I had tables my aces as soon as I called and he just mucked.

Graph isn't quite as good as it was...break even tends to throw off the sexiness.

Super solid day today...in for 500 and cashed out 1620.

Changed up a few things in my game...pre flop action mostly, folding certain hands I was raising in certain spots, folding hands I was calling with to much (QJ, KJ type hands) it has helped me stay out of more marginal spots. I'm pretty sure that a leak has been plugged. These past couple of sessions I've been able to grind off of my first bi which is huge...usually I'll add on 100 if I get to 400. I've been playing a lot tighter starting sessions which has helped me stay out of my pocket. Plus I've been getting a much better feel for the table.

Semi loose guy opens utg for 20 there are 3 other callers and I call with 87♣♣ in the bb.

Flop is T♣6♦3♥.

Checks to utg who leads out for 50, folds to the station on the btn and he calls. A couple of things sent thru my head, first utg was not the kind if player to let go of an over pair very easily...since we were 650+ effective there was a decent amount of implied odds. Also the button had a big stack and has payed off quite a few people with 1 pair hands in big pots. Again implied odds are even greater now.

Turn: 9♣ lol I know

So I just turned the world, I checked and utg bets 50 again and the button calls. Here is where I made my mistake, I raised 140 more. To big of a raise looking back for sure, I think I could have clicked it to 75-90 and gotten some action. Both players end up folding...utg tanked for about 2 minutes and out all his chips at the line debating a shove but ends up folding. If I make it 85 more then he may think he can get me to fold and it may induce a spazz shove. Later he said that he had QJ.

Well decided to stay up north since it was storming so badly at 3 am. Had a good old fashioned Texas breakfast



In for 900 today got up to 1100 on the first 500 but had a few second best hands and 3 bet AK and had to call a shove from behind. Then a guy proceeded to blow thru 2500 in 4 orbits...no joke I doublets thru him when I flopped a set of 6s on a T♣6♣8♣ flop when he shoved T♠8♣...worst turn ever 7♦ but I faded the river.

Hit a few hands and got paid off in some medium pots then had a big hand. Utg makes it 20 there are 5 callers an I have 2♠3♠ in the bb. Flop is T♦2♥3♣ I check utg bets 50 btn calls I snap throw in 200 an utg shoves for 700 btn folds and I call. I cried on a T♦ turn but fist pumped the 2♣ river...utg shows KK weeeeeeeeeeeeee
