Hi guys,
I'm PintorMaella, 24 years of age and in a stage in my life where I want to give poker a serious go. I will not bore you guys with the thousandth time someone posts in this forum how they have gone broke before, but this time everything will be different, how they will learn and grind and do amazing things. What's more, I'll start by telling you what you WON'T be seeing in this thread:
- Sick giraffes (well, instead of this one: )
- Baller lifestyle pics
- Genius hand breakdowns
Instead, I will try to paint the reality of a normal guy trying to get better at a game. So prepare for an update every ±5-10k hands, a lot of (reg)fish thinking, swings, frustrated updates and thread savers.
Of course, there also has to be a goal, otherwise this wouldn't be a PG&C. With the saying "shoot for the stars etc." in mind, I decided to set myself a big goal: 50k€ in profit by December 31st, 2016. My main game will be 6-Max NLHE and my starting bankroll will be 400€, but I intend to deposit more if it means I can save time that way. If, for example, I feel comfortable at a higher stake than I'm playing at that moment, but don't have the bankroll for it, I might deposit some more so that I'm rolled for taking a shot.
I think that suffices for an introduction. I might go into more detail about my life and dreams, both private and pokerwise, and why the hell this thread is called 'Project Tesuji' in the first place, if I feel like it sometime in the future. For now, I'm going to leave you guys with a thread saver. And by thread saver, of course I mean: cats! How can you look into this cat's eyes and not immediately subscribe to my thread?
I'm kidding of course. The pleasure is all mine, though I hope some of you will be following. If it isn't from the start, then maybe in the course of the thread.
Thanks for your attention and time,
PintorMaella
