''I don't hate working, I just don't like the idea of a capped salary''
I'm one of those guys thats trying every way to earn money just to avoid working a regular job. I don't hate working, in contrary, I'm working twice as hard and long right now as I would working a regular 9 to 5. But I just don't like the idea of having a capped salary, or at least not having a reasonable chance to really print money.
I'm in my mid twenties right now and been into poker for 9 years now. It was a nice side income while attending uni and later while working parttime.
Long story short: I have a uni degree and I worked a regular job for a while. My contract ended and I figured that was the perfect time to try to play poker fulltime for a couple of months and see how it goes. The last couple of months I've been investing my time into studying alot and playing fulltime since mid december, mainly MTT's. I play on a couple of different sites, but the vast majority of my volume is on Pokerstars. With an average bi of ~$22 I'm buying in directly into mtt's up to $44, and play satties to higher bi's every now and then.
Here's my graph since mid December.
I don't consider myself as a top player, I probably have a ton of leaks, but I do feel like I have a big enough edge to beat my average buyin.
I've made this thread to post my progress in pokerwise, but also random thoughts I have. I'm probably gonna post more about myself and the goals I persue, but for now I'll leave this OP as it is. The first thing I'm probably gonna do is make some sort of schedule of when to play, when to take time off and when to study. Because now I'm really playing and studying unstructured.
