Hello everybody,

The Challenge ends in 6 weeks and the propability of reaching the 25k is very little additional it is even less likely to reach 25k in EV and that's actually the important thing.

What went wrong:

1. Wasn't able to go with an aggressive BRM as planned because of joining the stable.
2. I needed to work way more on theory as expected.
3. Way too little volume.

Benefits of the Challenge:

1. I was working very hard which alowed me to overcome my limits several times.
2. I made big progresses in my game.
3. Figgured out my strengths and weaknesses.

Drawbacks of the Challenge:

1. I was very exhausted several times and I felt really destroyed.
2. It was a lot of pressure.
3. Missed a lot of mini goals during the challenge, which felt very demotivating, allthough I was actually working a lot but mainly on theory.

Conclusion:

1. I will not put anymore pressure on me!

- Of course I will still work hard to reach my ultimate goal, but in a more relaxed environment. Therefore I am going to add FUN-TIME, like doing sport, meet friends, relax, take vacation. Things that I didn't have done for a very long time, even before the challenge started.
- Otherwise I would burn out, if something that you really like is exhausting you, it's definitely time to change things and just let it be something to enjoy again.

2. Stay patient!

- I always wanrted to reach my goals as fast as possible, which is also one of the reasons that increases the pressure dramatically.
- Therefore I decided to just work as long as it lasts to reach my goal and just enjoy the ride.

3. Try to steadily increase volume.

Is that the end of the Challenge?

- Of course not. I will definitely continue the challenge until I reach the 25k€ goal but in EV. So even if I win the jackpot tomorrow I continue the challenge until I have reached the goal in EV€.
- But there will not be any timeframe or anything.
- I will update the challenge at least every sunday.

So let's see how long it will take me to reach that 25k€ EV.

Hello everybody,

I am back to the 25€ games, the start was mediocre and it felt like everybody is super aggressive, but I am going to analyze that tommorrow. Let's see how it is going this time.

Hello everybody,

it's getting tough again on the 25s, it really feels like I amjust running horrible but on the other side its the 2nd try on that limit and I am not able to beat it.
Therefore I have to figure out if it is a bad run or bad play.

Hello everybody,

It looks like I have to move down again, but I was able to spot my leeks and already started to fix them, so even if I have to move down again, I am looking forward to beat 25s next time.

Hello everybody,

@smokebillowing, thank you for cheering me up

Review:

I had to move down to 10€ games again. It was definitely because of to many mistakes in my game. But that's actually good, it means I have possibility to improve and beat the 25s.
But for now I need to grind 10s and get back on 25s. I will use this time to work on my leaks and prepare myself very well for the 3rd try xD

Hello everybody,

News:

We are in the 4th quarter of the year and I decided to go for a nice finish.

Therefore I created a 11 week challenge to really push it hard during that period. It will start tomorrow and will end on the weekend before x-mas.

Afterwards I am going for a vacation until new year and start the grind on 1st January 2020.

This is how it will look like:

Goals:

- Reaching and beat €25 Spins with at least 63 chips/game!
- Train hard to gain strength and skills.

Review:

This weeks grind was ok.

@JosephRellort and @braindead11, really appreciate that and happy to read some cheering words!

Review CW 42:

I was still to sick to work and I decided to take off the whole week. Therefore I wasn't grinding.
But the time out was pretty much needed. After taking off a week I feel like I am brandnew xD
I am still not 100% healthy that's why I can't train but it is definitely good enough to work.
This means I'll start the finish of the year challenge next monday and I'll just grind this week!

UPDATE CHALLENGE:

I analyzed my performance so far this year and it turned out that there are 2 very important things:

1. I made the most EV if I played more than 1000 Games!
2. My BIGGEST LEAK is the low Volume!

I mean I already knew that I am not grinding enough volume but after my review it got totally obvious.

So I asked myself the question 'why is that'?

It is because I am still doing stupid mistakes ingame, which is very ironic, because
it forced me to think that I have to learn more to get better.

Therefore I always studied harder and grind less! And this loop is going now for the whole year until I realized that my poker theory is very good!

How can I be sure about that if I am just have mediocre winnings?

Just because I know that I am doing stupid mistakes ingame and I spot almost all of them during my hand-review!

What's the conclusion now?

I should stop working on my theory and start to implement my knowledge ingame. Because for some reason I am not following my strategy ingame and overadjust hardcore.

And how can I get out of that vicious circle?

Just doing things differently. I will reduce my theory work to 2h of hand-reviewing each weak. The rest will be just grinding. Not only this, it also turned out that I never really give it a try to play more than 2 tables!
I always stopped after appr. 100 tables, therefore I will grind this time at least 500 games while 3-tabling. If my C/EV is >40 chips I am continuing until 1000 games. If my C/EV is >50 I will stay with 3-tabling until end of the year. Just to really get used to it and give it a try.

Therefore the Challenge until 23.12.2019 is to grind without any breaks and play 6820 games.

My day will look like this:

Mo-Fr:

Morning:

- 10km walking with dogs
- Taking a shower
- Clean Up flat
- Meditate

Noon:

- Grinding 100 hands (with 3-tables appr. 5h)
- Hand Review 2h (only on one day of the week!)

Evening:

- 2h Sports

Weekend:

Morning:

- 10km walking with dogs
- Taking a shower
- Clean Up flat
- Meditate

Noon:

- Grinding 140 hands (with 3-tables appr. 7h)

This is how it will look and I am really fired up to have a great finish of the year! And of course I am also very curious how it will work and if these are the changes that I need to do to push past my limits.

I think you're calling "tourneys" "hands" for some reason in the post above

Pretty cool, go get the volume tigerr! Well, yeah... but when you run good the "mistakes" still print you as the villains somewhy bluff you convincingly and by calling off you print )) So I mean, whereas a play is -EV, if it's clearly -EV, sure, banish it! Yet, sometimes it's more dubious than black and white

Btw, since you mention e10s and e25s all the time, are you playing on some .es or something? Just curious

Games must be tough and edges just be small if you need massive volume to get an edge

Hello everybody,

@Jimstark, sry I can't collab with anybody atm because I am still under contract.

Very cool that you guys motivating me, that's definitely super cool and very needed right now. I was totally failing and it was just a desaster, I am totally poor in multitabling. That meens I will never reach the desired volume.

Anyway I'll definitely grind non stop until 23.12. but I have to go down to 2 tables...

Hello everybody,

At the beginning of the week I gave 3-tabling nother chance but it didn't worked out at all!

Therefore I decided to go for 2-tabling which worked better.

But it was another weak week, so let's see how I perform next week.

At least we're running HOT in chips earned! Yeah for sure, you gonna kill it the next week; However

What do you think are the biggest problems that make you earn less cEV than normally past 2 weeks?

Hello everybody,

I update the block tomorrow, very busy today.

But I am going to answer the questions quickly:

@EPTchips

It is pretty simple, I am playing bad! Of course I am also in a bad card distribution, but it would be to easy to just blame my bad run for the bad results!

I am pretty distracted and have a big lack of focus during my sessions. That is caused by a possibility to move in an appartment, where I finally can stay!

It is very hard to find an appartment without a regular income and two dogs! I am searching now for over 1 year and I always got rejected. But finally I am having the chance to get one and this is my #1 priority and I am just not able to stop thinking about it, I am also super excited and that's why I am not able to play well. I am not able to focus on the game!

The second big tihing that causes EV drop is the test with multi-tabling. I am to slow to play more than 2 tables. I still need to long for my decisions.

Overall it is just my fault.

@92781243T

I failed several times this year and I am definitely not happy about that. But at least I know why I failed so I can get better at those points.

Anyway. very soon I will show nice results again and I will also pass through those Low and Midstake Limits!

Don't let the regfishes see you weak, man. When I started, my cEV was so high, all the regs were even scared to play vs me they gave me free cEV.

Gl on new apartment, but remember having a real apartment requires maintenance. Although, they have pretty damn cool floor clearing robots at e700 range ima grab me one too in a sec,
