Not a whole lot of poker obviously the last couple of weeks. But as I am still awake at 4:30 AM I decided to play a bit and encountered an interesting hand, even for PLO6:
$1-$2 Blinds (PLO6) - 4 players
SB (hero): $194.44
BB: $222.70
UTG: $119.50
BTN (villain): $177.02
SB (hero) posts $1
BB posts $2
Preflop:
• UTG raises to $4
• BTN calls $4
• SB (hero) calls $3
• BB calls $2
Flop ($16 pot) 6d 2c 2h
• SB (hero) checks
• BB checks
• UTG checks
• BTN (villain) bets $10
• SB (hero) calls $10
• BB folds
• UTG folds
Turn ($36 pot) 6d 2c 2h Ks
• SB (hero) checks
• BTN (villain) checks
River ($36) 6d 2c 2h Ks Ah
• SB (hero) bets $36
• BTN (villain) raises to $144
• SB (hero) goes all-in $181.44
• BTN (villain) goes all-in $167.02
Showdown:
• SB (hero) shows Qs Qd 9c 4d 2s 2d for quads
• BTN (villain) shows Ad Ac Th 9d 5d 3c for a full house
SB (hero) wins $370.04
An absolute brutal river for my opponent as the aces gave him the nut full house. He played the hand "interesting" I suppose is the best way I can put it as he decided to limp behind the UTG call instead of raising in position. Had he raised, especially over the limp, no doubt I fold my hand.
