Taking #3 to a sushi restaurant tonight and she texts me to ask if she needs to put on makeup and something nice. The question is completely appropriate and one not enough girls ask. It's a nice place that I'm taking her to and the effort is appreciated. It'll make her plenty grateful and should make for a fun night after. Pics upcoming.

The sushi was not that great to be honest. I last went to this place over a year ago but Covid has really hit them hard as their menu has been completely changed. The tuna wasn't all that fresh and the service was subpar. Then the #3 didn't feel that great after dinner so she just went home; i.e., she's made plans to bang another guy and thought she could squeeze in a free dinner. So I just came back to the condo, called #2 and spent the rest of the night in as she usually sleeps over. I needed to get my key back from another girl today so I took her to the Sofitel Hotel for lunch and brought her back to the condo. I don't know if I'm going to see her too much after this as she just broke up with a boyfriend who knocked her up. She's about 9 weeks in so it's going to be a logistical problem anyway going forward. But she's a nice girl and I don't mind helping her out and besides she still has a rocking body.

I've been absolutely slammed lately and am completely behind in the work for the agency. I've barely been able to do any of the multimedia stuff, which is what I enjoy the most but usually has to be sacrificed to do all the mundane day to day stuff. We picked up a few new clubs that a lot players have been asking for so I've been swamped with getting them all in and collecting deposits from everyone. I've lost count at this point of how many spreadsheets I have to maintain on a given day. I did manage to get a Twitch video in the other day and I'll do a Poker Life episode for the YouTube page soon.

I'm contemplating a trip back to the States to play the WSOP in October. It really wouldn't even be a decision if it wasn't for the fact that I would have to pay $2K upon my return here because.... Cambodia. So whatever I spend in the States, and I don't anticipate it being a cheap trip, I have to add another $2K on top of that as soon as I return with a 2 week quarantine. I haven't been back in about 6 years, but also wanted to go to reestablish some bank accounts in the States as such would help me greatly in moving money for my agency. I also wouldn't mind picking up a few more clients and even perhaps some sub-agents. Playing in the Series would just be icing on the cake and if I can bink one then great. I don't have too many friends there anymore but have spoken to a couple of them already. They offered to help with lodging but I think I surprised them when I said that I would probably just get a corporate lease at a place like the Meridian or Veer Tower at the Aria. If I am going out there I don't really want to stay in a sh*t hole as I've done that before. I have to consider though how much I can potentially grow the business while there. I should have more time to be able to play both live and online by the sheer fact that I won't have the day to day in person responsibilities of being with the family. If that projects out well enough I'll make the trip. Below is a screenshot of the events I would like to play, of which I'll most likely end up playing two.

The other option is to stay here and find a new condo as I am growing frustrated with the one I am using now as an office. It's one of the few that have kept their pool and gym closed almost throughout the entire duration of the restricted periods here in Phnom Penh. My lease is up and I can afford a bit more so I might be looking to upgrade anyway. But no point in signing a new lease if I'm planning a trip to Vegas so I am deciding between the two. The nicer condos here are filled with Chinese and Singaporeans and so I may just try to learn the language and pick up some new players working out of a new condo as that market is something I have yet to be able to penetrate. The frontrunner is a place called KC Apartments, a place that I actually looked at before when considering a two bedroom for the family. I've included a link to a video below.

I'm going out with one of the Koreans to Secrets tonight so should be a fun night. I have a girl there so probably will bring her back to the condo.

Perhaps I've become a bit lazy and so do not want to move condos right now. And besides I spent a lot of time setting things up here from the kitchen to the home theater set up so I really don't feel like doing it again. This of course increases the chances that I will in fact go to the States in October for the Series and other business related matters. I would really just be tagging along with a friend who already had his trip planned for a while. My wife seems cool with it but then again I don't think she realizes how much the trip would cost.

I did end up going to Secrets the other night and bringing my regular there back to the condo. While at the bar she told me she was starving so I bought her dinner as Secrets has a full kitchen and also serves as a restaurant. But when I brought her back to my place she said she was still hungry and so I fed her a bowl of noodles. Perhaps I should have believed her more when she would text me during the lockdown and told me she had no money to eat.



I played live poker for the first time today in a while. My friend is close with the operator of one of the rooms in town and I guess they were having some trouble getting the game going today as it started a bit later than usual. So he asked me to do a solid and help start the game, which I did. It started as 5/5 PLO and I bought in for $1K but it quickly turned into 5/10 as the table filled up. I thought about topping up for more but only one other player bought in deep so I just kept the initial stack and kept playing. I cashed out $2,100 after I flopped quads and actually got a bet and raise from the two other players in the hand. The dealer asked me if I would be back tomorrow but I really don't want to start down the live path again. I'll go every once in a while and that way they'll really appreciate my patronage. But I really have no desire to become a part of that room or any other for that matter.

As I ponder whether to go to Vegas in October to play the series, I couldn't help but to recall how I came to play in my first and only WSOP event.

I haven't really been able to play any online poker the past week as the agency has completely blown up the last few weeks. I guess I got some new spots that players really want as I've been glued to my computer nearly all day/night handling deposits and withdraws. The only poker I've gotten in are a couple of live sessions, one which I already reported on last week, and another one today in which I won $2,130 in a $5/$10 PLO game here in town. The #3 has been demanding some time with me as I haven't seen her in a while so I took her to the Sofitel Hotel yesterday for their Chinese restaurant Fu Lu Zu. She's really made an effort to dress up as I take her to these nice places so that's very much appreciated. I wanted to take a picture of her but she didn't want to show her face so she did the Blair Witch pose in my condo but the photo really doesn't do her body justice. I just got back from the bars as they're pretty much all open now, granted with their lights and marquees off. The #2 is coming over in about an hour so that should be a fitting cap to a great day.

Didn't win too much during this short session but generally I've been crushing.

As I'm busy at the condo playing poker and working on the agency, my wife is at home with now four kids. We have our three kids of course but her younger sister also had a baby recently and basically has nowhere to go. So she and her baby are occupying the third bedroom so my wife has her hands full to say the least. She really needed a break so I decided to book a night at Hotel Emion on the Riverside for an impromptu getaway. The wife and I have taken trips before but perhaps this was the nicest hotel she has stayed in as her jaw dropped when we were shown the room. The hotel staff was nice enough to upgrade us to the 16th floor suite and my wife even decided to use the pool on the roof, something I've never seen her do before.

We took some of the girls to the Hyatt Regency last night, which is quickly becoming our favorite spot for basically every meal. They have a great rooftop restaurant called FiveFive with fantastic food, cool ambiance and unmatched service. And this is one of the few spots in town with Macallan whiskey up to 25 years. I had a double shot of the Macallan 15 as the 25 is $250 per shot!









I haven't play a ton of poker but haven't needed to as the agency is healthy and I've generally been crushing when I do play. Check the games for fish, sit in if I find any, hopefully win and then rinse and repeat.

I used to go raw and never caught anything. I remember I took a girl to a hotel once and she looked up at me from the bed and said, "My friend tell me you should wear condom so I no get sick." I looked back at her and told her I wasn't going to do that and she just said ok lol. That was during the time I was broken up with the wife, my girlfriend back then. I feel a lot different about it now as I dread the thought of giving something to the mother of my three kids. I always cover up these days, the last time I didn't being when I had the goomah living at my condo. It's interesting you use the word hookers as I've been thinking lately that I'm a bit tired of the bar scene. I'm not quite at the place where I'm going to be a faithful husband as that's just not how my thinking is wired at this point. But if I were to have something on the side I've been thinking more and more lately that I'd like to pull a "regular" girl. I go to the Hyatt a lot these days for meals and the girls that work there from the greeters to the servers all bum rush me whenever I arrive so I imagine it wouldn't be too difficult to get a number or whatever. It's kind of amazing actually that in 7 years of living here I haven't ever done that yet as the bars were just so easy. But with covid having depressed the economy near completely for the bar girls I've seen the worst side of them come out lately. I'm not even talking about random girls at bars but rather my regulars, who should know by now that if they're just honest with me about things I'll help them out however I can. But a few of them have become really elaborate lately with supposed dead relatives and fake abortions (not mine) that seem just completely distasteful. This is probably a longer answer than you expected but I sort of felt like writing.

I took a -$1.5K hit yesterday playing 2/4/8 PLO6 so currently down about $500 for the week. I still have tomorrow and some rakeback coming so hoping for a break even week or maybe even a bit up. I just got through what has to be the toughest 3 week stretch in dealing with my agency that I've experienced in a while. The new Pokerrrr 2 clubs have me working all sorts of weird hours and I'm still getting used to how they send reports that I have to then reformulate for my players. I think I finally have everything ironed out so it should be smoother sailing going forward. I'm hoping that will allow me to write more blog posts and do more Twitch streams. I moved the ex goomah back into the condo as I just sort of got tired of everyone else and just would rather have her around. She's not perfect by any means and she can drink more than me which is quite impressive. But she carries herself well as I can take her to most high end places and she's a freak in the sack. The fact that she's deaf also makes playing late hours and doing streams much easier. We might take a room at the Hyatt for a month so I can get access to their pool and gym as most other places around town are closed at the moment due to the pandemic. As we start doing more things around town again I'll try to post some pics.

I've won about $1,100 in the last 12 hours to save the week and with rakeback should be an OK-ish week.

I decided to move my secondary residence from my 1 bedroom condo to a much bigger and nicer 2 bedroom. I'm going to treat it like a proper headquarters and studio to ramp up production on media content for my agency and also to grind more. I'm moving in two days and I'll do a proper Cribs style video for the YouTube page once everything is set up. But in the meantime, here is the Google Map link and Facebook page for the condo:

Things were getting relatively back to normal here in Phnom Penh as more bars were opening and the riverside area was getting busy again. But just when it seemed like we were getting through this, they slapped another curfew on us from 9:00 PM to 3:00 AM essentially killing all the bars again. It's supposed to run for two weeks but these things always get extended here so I'm afraid it might run for another month. There is no dine in during this time either as food is only supposed to be takeaway or delivery. But thankfully hotel restaurants can still serve their guests and while I don't have a room at any hotel at the moment, the Hyatt has made an exception in my case as I'm a VIP there. So five of us went out there tonight for dinner as we will be doing on many nights as there is nowhere else that is available to us. I love going to the Hyatt as their service is excellent and they treat us really well. The staff all greet us at the door and part like the red sea as we make our way through the lobby. I still have a free night available to me in one of their suites so I'll probably use it soon since there won't be much else to do.







I'm not able to keep a regular schedule these days but having 30+ clubs in my agency allows me to be able to play whenever as somebody will be running a good game pretty much around the clock. Given that I'm keeping weird hours I've generally been playing on the American clubs and doing fairly well.
