Hi, I recently completed a Bankroll Speedrun where I attempted to take a $100 initial starting bankroll and turn it into $10,000 over the course of one week, mostly playing on the soft Pennsylvania ring-fenced sites, but eventually yoloing it off at Black Chip Poker, winning a flip for the entire roll, but kind of breaking the rules in the process. I know the PA sites are very soft and this would be very difficult on other sites. Below is a recap and the vods are up on my twitch for the time being, https://www.twitch.tv/goinhardinthapaint/videos. I'll try to upload them to YT eventually.

Full recap is here:

Here's the cash game graph.

I just wanted to see if I could do it. And I can.

Here's the final hand:

I'll probably do an after action review and a Q&A on my twitch in the coming days

It looks like you went busto at about the 15k hands mark? Or at least would have had a hard time buying into anything more than 10NL.

These challenges are neat, but they're basically like a typical large field tournament where you have to increase your starting stack by 100x without busting. Someone does it, and a skill edge helps, but at the end of the day it takes a shitload of luck to survive that long.

We were treading water in the cash games for almost the entire challenge until the last day, with every shot take starting off in a downswing. We were never close to busto tho because the micro tourneys are God's gift to an aspiring micro grinder. So early cash game shot takes were basically funded by MTT Binks. The 500nl+ shot takes were the only ones that weren't disastrous. Started off with 10 buy-in shot take BRM where I mix in tables of the next stake up and 15 buy-ins for it to become my main stake. But also played Spins and MTTs to supplement when there weren't enough tables of cash. We had to drop back down after every shot take except 500nl+ shot takes where we basically blasted with the roll on the table and managed to spin it up to 10k.

Basically ran very bad in Cash early on and great in MTTs and this ended up flipping as we moved past 200nl where the $100 tourneys were often near misses but we finally started holding our all-ins in cash (sometimes).

Recap is up on twitch if you'd like to see me review the entire episode and have my face block half the graph in the process (I'm not a real streamer, I'm a poker player)
