I’ve decided to take poker very serious cos I’m enjoying it so much atm I want to do and be the best I can be. Throughout the year I am to reach NL100 and I’ve decided to start a blog to control tilt and keep track of the challenge. I’ve deposited $100 on pokerstars and I want to keep it at 50 but ins on every level so I’m aiming to reach $250 within the next 2 months is this reasonable to be this cautious pls help. I also aim to play 1k-2k hands a day and will post regularly.

Thanks for for any advice on this challenge

Well if you want to move up those stakes you have to balance an aggressive bankroll strategy with being comfortably rolled enough to play aggressively.
Post a hand or two a day and let's see how you are playing

Gl Op, that goal seems pretty aggressive. I'm doing the same with the same roll but my goal is reaching 25NL.

My C Won $33.14
Hands 3035
Hans Won 439(14.46%)
BB/100 54.60
My C / 100 $1.09
WWSF 52.59
Avg All-In Equity 57.04

2 days in and these are my currents stats. Ive been running great and playing great also. I'm finding it very easy to find the fish and exploit there weaknesses to a fairly good standard I believe. I am to keep my bb/100 over 50 for as long as possible as I don't feel there is any need for it to drop however I have read that its impossible to reach over 30/100 bb is this true does anyone know? your thoughts on this would be great.

I'm find a great tactic which has worked is obviously playing a fairly TAG style. I'm currently playing 18/14 does anyone know the optimal playing micros? I'm raising with AK/AQ on the flop and getting callers, if I hit my ace on the flop just simply going all in is usually working as most opponents with Ax will call so this is an easy way of grabbing those chips against lesser oppenents. I understand this will only work on NL2.

Having a great current bb/100 its raised a few questions how many hands should I use as a sample to size to make it even slightly respectable to see an accurate result of how well I'm playing. Also what is the highest bb/100 anyone has achieved as id love to know how well I'm playing in the grand scheme of things.

Take this with a pinch of salt but honestly I would just forget stats right now and concentrate on maximising your ev. 18/14 if that is 6max that is ultra tight. If full ring, not sure.
