BR dropped to about 290, went back on the grind in NL10, hopefully gonna grind to around 400-450 before going back to NL25 again. Didn't play too well in the first few sessions, then afterwards I video'd and reviewed my game and plugged some leaks (calling too light, not stealing enough, not double barrelling in some spots and taking stupid/not though through lines). Doing pretty well now grinding out at NL10!

Hey

Didn't play yesterday, had a homegame...donked off in the tournament that we had then played nl10 cash and won a few BIs, just pretty fun cause it was a friendly group.

Online I didn't play as much as I wanted, and I am splitting my time between playing, watching replays of myself so I can find leaks and then watching training videos. Started to watch the Coaching Tree and Coaching Kirsty.

Started to climb back up again after my fustrating downswing, BR went to 380ish after the last update. Got a HU table going when the table started to break down against a reg who wasn't great, ran bad against him etc. After the downswing where I was -5BI under EV in like a day, I rebuilt and now I am back up to 489.65.

There are still loads of leaks in my game, and I think I am more comfortable at NL25, a few weeks ago I was running about 18/15 when my stats at NL10 was about 22/20, so in the last few days I loosened up a little. However, playing more hands gets me into more interesting spots and thus now I can spot more leaks.

Played nl50 live tonight, played really abc fit/fold/raise FR...play was dreadful, players probably worse than nl5 ones and had some sick hands which didn't go in my favour...

Doubled up really early on against some woman, got TPTK in and she mucks...ez, apparently I made some old geezer muck QJ on QJ3 flop with the c/r according to him?!?!?! :s

I get dealt KK, I open to 14x, get 2 callers. Flop Qc Tc 8s, MP plans to donk pot (~£25), but then drops his chips and one £1 chip lands into the middle, dealer makes a big point about what goes in stays in and he can't donk 20 etc...so he gets made to raise £1 into £25 pot. I reraise to 25, btn tanks for ages and is shaking his head and sighing before calling for about 20 then stands up from his chair etc... Then the MP-would-be-donker shoves for about 100...I call he flips over QT. Board ran, a club came and river and BTN mucks which is wtf...5 minutes later I saw my friend get 2 outer'd on river for a 160 pot...

Sat in the casino and had a drink with a friend while waiting for a few of my friends to get busted in the 10+2 rebuy tourney, didn't think I would play again tonight.

After people started busting out of the tourney we ended up railling a friend on nl50, saw one guy earlier who donked about 300 off in 30 mins when the table started, he was now steaming more after dumping a few BIs at the nl100 plo/nl rotation and was just pretty much open shoving flops. Me and the friend who busted earlier decided to rebuy, wait patiently for hands and stack someone. I pick up AA about 30 mins in, the aggro donk makes it 6 pre, which is flatted by 2 people. I 3bet to 25, and he 4bet shoves. Other guys fold and I snap and he sighs and shakes his head while chuckling "I bluffed the wrong time". Board comes out 35577, he shows 76 and apologises....few minutes later my friend who rebought gets it in on flop with nut flush vs. tp and loses a big pot when turn and river gives tp a full house...only good part of the night was when one the friends who we went down to the casino with shipped the 10 3x rebuy tourney for 800

15 mins later the casino closed all the poker tables down . From the casino trip I pretty much busted half the live roll which I grinded in the last 2 weeks playing nl10-20 at homegames, probably not going to go to the casino for a while until I get a bit more rolled for it...

Won 6BIs at the local NL20 cash game last night as well, running pretty hot atm in RL and swingy quite a bit online, I need to improve my bluffing spots and think more about bluff ranges etc.

Haven't updated this in a loooong time, been really busy in RL and stuff, managed to get a house sorted out for next year!

Meanwhile I have been running pretty badly and that's affected my play online, I had a huge swing which I think is the biggest one so far. Had 4 -70 sessions which took me down to about 290. I think after going through some hands and looking at some graphs I think I will give myself a tighter leash of 2BI stoploss per session as the majority of my losses have been big losses in a short ammount of time which I am assuming is tilt.

Played about 5.5k hands since the last update so I don't think I will go through the HHs...
