New Year New Hope New Year New Hope

Intro.
I have become somewhat complacent in my poker "career" and been auto-piloting a lot recently. In hopes of paying more attention at the table as well as to hold myself accountable in the new year, I am beginning this PG&C.

Me.
I am a semi-retired 46 yo man living in a small market city. The poker world here is pretty small so I wish to remain anonymous and keep the location veiled. I have a lot of experience in poker, both online and live, and fancy myself as a pretty competent player.

Scene.
A small market city. Most of the live games run here are $1/2 NL and occasional $2/5 and/or $5/5 NL. Although the poker population is rather small, we are blessed here to have a healthy influx of wealthy recreational players. Also, the buyin structure is quite friendly, $300-$500 max buyin for $1/2 and $500-$2k buyin for the $5 big blind games. I have been quite successful in playing these games and have a solid winning image.

Goal.
1. Play 120+ hrs live a month. (I have nothing better to do.)
2. Update this thread at least 5 times a week.
3. Arbitrary goal of $40/hr.

Visiting Seattle

I was able to put in a couple short sessions at Red Dragon and play some PLO.

Duration: 5hrs 36 mins
Profit: $1443
Hourly: Insane

PLO here is a $1/$3 game with a $5 bring in with Mississippi straddle to $10. Because the buyin is capped at $300, this makes a weird dynamic. Plus, max bet is capped at $300 per state law.

Anyways, not a bad way to start off the new year.
