Hello there everybody. I posted a few days back on this part of the forum with a PG&C thread, however since then I have had a change of plan regarding my targets I have set myself.


Here's a little about myself.

I'm a 24 year old lad living in Leeds, England. Just moved into the area, however I grew up on the East coast. I've just moved in with a girlfriend (for the first time - ahhh!) that I've been with for ~15 months, she's great and I'm hoping it will last a long time. She's very supportive with my poker and I'm teaching her a little here and there, she's playing micro spins and sngs mostly just getting her basics, my aim is to teach her up to a good standard so we can both be making a little £££ on the side.

My education background is a bit crap, with a massive hole in it. I coasted through school, college (6th form for us Brits) and got to uni, studying Aerospace Engineering, I only managed 5 months there before dropping out with around £3000 debt to my name. I still have £1200ish to pay off before I can think of going back to uni (silly new student loan rules).
I have looked at going back to College/Uni in September this year and the two courses that interest me are going to cost £3500/4000, so I'll need to get saving.

My Goals

Play 25nl profitably (Stars)
I'll try to table select, but only playing 4 regular tables and 1 zoom max

Avoid Fancy Play Syndrome

Stick to my preflop hand ranges
(3 bet value only OOP, add bluffs IP, depends from blinds with strong hands only. and most importantly fold and the crap I get dealt)

Financial goal (away from poker)
Save £4,000 before September (possibly using some poker bankroll)

Fitness goal (away from poker)
Start running, buy some decent shoes and start running, I'll explore the area I've just moved into.
