Sooo about a month ago a good buddy of mine decides to quit his job and up and leave VA Beach to head out West. With his destination being Colorado. His car is packed full of camping gear, fishing pool, snowboard and surfboard and $300 to his name.
Needless to say the $300 barley covers gas and food. He only makes it as far as Colorado before his is pretty much tapped out. So he stops in Brekenridge where they legalized weed and hits up one of the local head shops and buys some medical grade herb and some shatter glass hash oil.

He sets up camp in the Rocky Mts. Its pretty much free to camp anywhere out west. So for about 2 weeks he goes in town looking for a job and in the mean time just survives off fresh fish he caught and some hot dogs he bought before he busted his life roll haha.

About 3 days ago he finally found a seasonal job as a cook at one of the local resorts. Pretty Sweet deal for him because they got employee housing so no more roughing it in the wild.
I promised him about 2 weeks ago i'd fly out there and kick it for about a week before my semester at ODU began. At the time i had a bankroll of about 3k, but a few white girl / wasted late night shots at NL1000 on bovada BUSTED My ROLL ! I told him i'd bring him some cash and stake him in the local casinos until he got back on his feet.
So I need this cash to buy a plane ticket to denver airport before school starts to be part of this epic adventure. Before school locks me down like a penitentiary.

And yes that's a mt goat in the background hahaha

Damn dude, you need to learn some BRM. Hopping into $1000NL with 3 buyins is pretty bad and know one will feel sorry for u. You obviously have an understanding of the game if you ran it up, but you should be focusing more on BRM now. Otherwise the game will destroy you....

Yeah man i know. Tilt is a big issue. Gonna read the Mental Game of Poker by Jared. But that isn't my focus right now. Cant have BRM and do what i need to in 48 hours. Right now my focus is on making it to Colorado.. BRM can WAIT

Lol 60 buy in to win 7k when all u need is 1k? 3 table 25nl or one table 50nl. Move up when u have 2-3 buy ins for next level. 100nl u could prolly reach goal quickly if u have patience to nut hunt. Boring, but still doable. Tourneys r crapshoots. I would rather buy into 6 11 buy ins with 400 to first than one mtt.

Sorry for the lack of updates lately been grinding pretty hard lately. Was down to $5 at one point. Went on a sick Zone and Omaha heater bankroll sitting around $390ish
