Hey 2+2 community,

Background:

I started playing online poker about 3 month ago with a 25$ deposit on stars. After reading some pokerbooks I moved up from 2NL to 5NL and realized some profits (about 200$). Unfortunately at the moment I`m on a downswing with a bankroll of about 150$.

Why I´m creating this thread?

- improve my game

I want to get as much as possible critics, discussion and improvement suggestions on my play. I will post regulary hands that i´m unconfident with. Please feel free to criticize every point of my game.

- to stay motivated

- find people to discuss about poker

About me

I´m 23 years old and living in Stuttgart (Germany). I`m working fulltime and study at a private university part-time, meaning that most of the time i only can play sessions in the evening and on weekends.

Stats:

all time chart since i have pokertracker (about 30k hands are missing when i played on my vacation to thailand)

very bad session yesterday.

bankroll: 151$

AK, hand you need to 4 bet preflop. As played its fine.
JQ hand, I dislike 3 betting the turn, but I guess villian is kind of short its hard to get away from top two at that spot.

Session today ended pretty bad :-S

One of my biggest mistakes this session. Just insane to call the all in with that board.

run up 3bi`s and than finished the session at breakeven. I will reduce my tables from 6 to 4, to focuse better on my opponents

I often will run into hands like this, that i lose 2 pairs against a set. Is it better to fold big aggression and not to force the all in with 2 pairs??
