Hello my name is Chris Louviere. I am 43 and have been rounding for the last 20+ years. When I have played occasional live tournaments from time to time the majority of the above said time has been spent in NLH cash games. From casinos coast to coast along with back door games in New Orleans and Dallas I have played with big names and literally played cash poker in just about every arena this country has to offer.
Up until about 9 months ago the idea of playing high profile tournaments was a joke to me for many reasons. In September of 2013 I went to a casino in Oklahoma called Indigo Sky to watch my best friend play in an HPT tournament. He ended up taking forth in the televised tournament.
My buddy asked me to go to the next HPT stop which was in Iowa at a racetrack called Prairie Meadows. Now as I have stated high profile tournaments were not for me but being the competitor that I am I just could not let my buddy one up me with the HPT final table. We made a deal with him putting up a satellite entry for me and the rest is history as I went on to win the satellite and the HPT main event.
Since then me and my buddy have arranged a staking deal which has been a win win for both of us. For me I have received life coaching and money management tools and for him I have won an HPT side event, WSOPC ring and multiple cashes and final tables at both HPT and WSOPC. Hell I almost made the WSOPC National Championship via points in just half the season finishing in 75th which you needed to be in 50th to qualify.
I have provided the above to give you a little history as you follow my progress at the 2014 WSOP. I am scheduled to play 8 events which I will list below. If we reach a designated goal through those 8 events then we will go on to play the main.

Event #4
#8b
#9
#19
#21
#26
#31
#33

Now as you can see we are focused on NLH as this is by far my best game. Obviously if any deep runs affect the schedule of any tournaments following then they will be cancelled. I will keep this entry updated on a nightly basis and I will be giving updates every other hour on my twitter account.
I sure can't predict the future but I will say that if you follow this thread you have a good chance at watching a random guy step by step win a bracelet.

In the beginning days of my poker playing (90's) it was defiantly recreational as the only games being spread in casinos were low to mid level limit games which because of the low level games I played (1-4-8-8, 3-6 or 4-8 limit) I had very little success. It wasn't till the mid 2000's when the lower limit NL games (1-2 or 2-5) took off that I took more of a full time approach to the game as I possessed skills in NL that allowed me to exceed for beyond the game of limit that I had known. I literally bought a cab and supplemented the income from that with poker. Got burnt out around 2010 and became a cat insurance adjuster and once again have come to play recreational which is where I am atm.

Thanks for the well wishes

Sorry as i forgot to post yesterday on the 10pm deepstack. I went out in the 150~300 with 7 bb aipf 77 vs A 8 and he hit 8 on river. Was not impressed with structure but i guess for $135 you get what you get. Today i start the milly maker at 5pm. Once again i will keep twitter updated every other hour "Chris_Louviere" and will report daily of my progress on this thread.
