Didn't record last session which was another short one that cost me a buy-in.
3 hour grind today with 3 small breaks, each between 5 to 10 minutes. The session had its ups and downs but overall felt good. Ran a full house into villains flopped quads. Haha. Woops. Too bad I wasn't in a casino. Up about a buy-in when all was said and done. Nearing the release of my next rakeback and deposit bonus.
Wrapped up the session to watch some MNF then head off to my basketball game. I have Baltimore teased down to -2.5 coupled with yesterdays Green Bay game, where I had the Packs down to -3. Green Bay binked it so were hoping for the best tonight.
Also have the same line (Ravens -2.5) with the O/U under 47.5 in another teaser.
For baseball, Texas Rangers to win SU tonight (currently down 2-Nothing, yikes). GLGL

BR: $77.23

Well it has been a week since I've posted. Since then I've played a hand full of sessions that went up and down. I decided to make the very aggressive decision to move to 10NL when my BR remained in the $70-$80 range. I made this decision based on the fact that I only have a week left to clear my deposit bonus, so playing 2.5 times bigger stakes (10NL compared to 4nl), I would clear bonuses at 2.5x the previous rate. I will adjust again after the 6th, when the bonus expires. Fully aware that I am not rolled for this, I reminded myself that at these low stakes it is nothing more than "taking a shot". Losing a roll this size would not be detrimental to my financial well-being.
From a BR of $77, I opened 2 10NL tables. After an hour or so, I wrapped up a win and recorded a BR of $96 and change.
A day or 2 following that, I completely nose-dived in a horrible session that cost me approximately $50, or 5BI. I was dealt aces 4 times, 3 of which were lost to sets. This set the tone for the session and left a sour taste in my mouth. From there I played a poor, tilted game, returned to my super-aggro degeneracy, and ultimately recorded a big loss. I am currently here, sitting on a BR of $43. Currently 4-tabling with my entire roll. Set to clear both a rakeback payment and a deposit bonus very soon, probably even this session.

BR: $45.07, mid-sesh

It's all gone.

Well, all but $5. I ran bad/played bad/tilted off my roll. When I got low I had some success staying afloat by mincashing a couple small MTTs. It ended tonight after 2 and a half hours of solid poker in which I was nearly doubled up before getting it in with the worse end of set vs set. Ugly hand and basically the theme of what all became of my roll. LOL.

I'm far from giving up. The fact that I hit 2+2 the minute I lost that hand confirms that. This ends the era of what was most definitely the worst personal run I've seen. When I originally dropped low, it became only 'taking a shot,' I say to assure any potential readers, and mostly myself. Losing money never feels good, no matter what it's designated for. Tough industry here. I ****ING LOVE IT. I'm FREE to be BUSTO. I could honestly say I didn't see much coming out of this. I hoped to build a nice roll and I strived to build a nice roll, but it just wasn't there. Directly addressing variance and the poker gods, the next run is the one. I have a goal to build a roll large enough to comfortably pay for a nice vacation with my girl. Vegas ldo. Downswings suck but I'm looking up! BRB BITCHES

The death of my roll + me getting trolled.
I had a final rakeback payment and a final shot and the above link is a recap of how that all played out.
Very possibly a SNG PG&C in the near future.

end.
