If you think the games on Ignition are bad... holy **** go play on WPN. Where 25NL and up you'll be playing with rakeback grinders from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, etc.

Yeah when I played Live, the dealers would screw me over so many times where I would get an Ace dealt face up and then my other card would be a high card like A or K. One dude actually got to keep his card that was dealt face up. It was really weird watching that hand being played.

So "That's what she said" just looking at your location. (I must be bored)

The JJ fold is probably very bad in theory (villain has loads of missed FDs, some 22, KJ and K9, maybe 99), but very good in practice (villain nearly always has QT).

That's on my bucket list too. I've managed the double check-raise a couple of times, but the trifecta remains a dream. I raised all three streets in position with ace high and won the other day though. #NoRespectForDonkbets

I know it's a terrible fold in theory. The guy ended up having 99 FWIW, which I was kinda surprised to see. Still happy with the fold.

Plan on doing some studying this monday/tuesday when I'm not working.

Short session after work + $200
03-16-2017 , 08:57 AM
Haven't played much the last few days. Worked/studied instead. Maybe made $100?

I'll be planning on streaming Friday night for a few hours and at an earlier time starting between 7 - 8 PM CST and probably the same for Saturday.

Also plan on buying a PIO coaching session from PlasticElephant and am looking forward to that now that I have PIO I find myself looking at at least one spot almost every day (if not 10+). I'm looking to be more efficient with my use of PIO/studying PIO and plan on doing some aggregated analysis and making some spreadsheets of some spots I want to review.

Sunday I won't be streaming as I have a few coaching sessions with some students, but will probably get in some hands.

Goals for this weekend:

1. 5k hands played
2. PIOsolver coaching
3. Analysis of SB vs BB cbet frequencies on ~25 different flops
4. Happy students

Plan on doing a bit of (3.) for the rest of the month, and will transition into BB strats vs. said SB strats and then start nodelocking some spots of what I think the field is doing and check the difference.

GL @ the tables all, hope to see you tomorrow night in the stream~!

Wasn't able to get stream going, but did grind for about 1 hr and broke even at 200z/400nl. Coolered really bad in one spot with boat over boat in 3bp and then got sucked out on in another spot. Played fairly well and plenty of chips flying though.

Will try and get the stream up tonight
03-20-2017 , 08:32 AM
Played some 1/2 - 3/6 for a few hours and got pwned. Ran like aids most of the night and couple spots at 3/6 completely crushed me. Bluff caught an all in spot and lots vs. nuts and then another hand with 4b pre AA and get called by 86s and the 86 ended up getting a boat (lol???)

Played fairly well. Some bluffcatch spots are always pretty meh, but runouts were quite bad and couldnt get much for value.

-$2k ish, pretty much all at 600nl within like 30 hands lol

coola

shoulda 4b larger, so my mistake there.

What ranges did you use for your pio study?
03-22-2017 , 04:27 PM
Impressive results, good luck! Will be following for sure. Seems that you don't have so much time for playing poker, but you choose to play reg tables instead zoom. Do you like it more? Or you think that you can achieve much higher win rate in reg tables? I would imagine that at NL200-NL600 reg tables should be hard to get a fish on the table. Really inspiring progress.

I play a bit of 200z when it runs sometimes. I like fast-fold a lot, but anonymous fast-fold is a bit different. Plenty of fish nl200+

Going back to day shift on April 3rd. So stoked.

There were 7 of us for this position, one had gotten promoted for the job I had applied for and now another guy just quit to take a different position elsewhere and there are only 5 of us. Kind of concerned what this will mean for me for the next couple months. May be a lot of forced overtime.

Oh that's not too bad i guess re the overtime. I can't believe the amount of overtime some of the salaried people I work with do without any compensation whatsoever.

Yeah, depends I guess. For what I'm getting paid I'm not really enthusiastic about it though.

Yeah neither. I value my free time more than the peanuts i get paid even if I'm getting 1.5-2* the peanuts for overtime.
