-$280 today. Running poorly + playing like B/C game.
10-31-2016 , 12:15 AM
My hand histories are messed up because of ignition, but I made ~$900-$1000 in what I'd estimate to be around 7000-9000 hands this month, so I'd say that's pretty good. I played well overall, but definitely still made more mistakes than I'd like. I'd say my overall goal is 1 mistake per 1000 hands.

Fired up a table of $200 and one of $100 as not many tables were running.

Proceeded to lose 3bi at 200nl quite quickly. All coolers. My WSD this session is just a bit above 20% so the runbad was real

Bad start to month!

Interesting that you playing only 4 tables. Why not more like the rest of people ?

Bovada software limits you to 4 tables at a time.
In regards to flatting wider in btn/co you mean that you can vpip wider because you won't get 3-bet squeezed often by the fishy/passive players in the blinds right?

Ex:
So stuff like KJo/A9o OTB vs. a MP/LP open would be a flat now?

That's loose, but stuff that may be 3b or fold become more profitable as flats as you're playing with whales. AXs, small sc, suited 1-gappers, 2-gappers, etc.

Hm sounds like i might be adding a bit more hands to my flatting range in LP for live poker also depending on whos on my left, but in reality live 1/2-2/5 is always going to be way more passive.

Thanks for the response mate

So haven't updated in a couple weeks. The session I had on the 1st and 2nd was around -$1,000. I wish my HH issue @ ignition was working because I lost when I had a lot of equity several times.

Played one short session the other day and made a bit over $100, but the sessions at the beginning of the month ate the majority of my profits from the previous month.

I now have a new computer/set up. Will post pictures later

Anyways quick cliffs since I've been gone:

- very little poker and lost more $$, mostly in EV but some mistakes too

- Thanksgiving was great! Finally used some vacation. I broke my 1 year mark at my current job so it was about time to take some days off. Got to see family and stayed at my brother's new house for a few days and spent time with my nephew

- Applied to a new job at the same company I've been working for. I have my first interview this Monday (2 days away). If I get this I'll be off of 12 hour shifts, salaried, and it'd be about a 50% pay increase (gamechanger)

- Got a book to study for the FE exam (fundamentals of engineering)

- Will take exam next week to get a quality certification from ASQ

- Maxed on my Runescape account

- Started playing a game called "RUST"

- Stopped drinking so much

- Trying to eat healthier

Welcome back man, glad to see you have some good prospects in the horizon.
12-04-2016 , 05:26 AM
Why did you go for the 6800k Mason. I would imagine 6700k is more than capable and way cheaper. Get 16gig of ram too!

Hope the interview works out mate

I tried Rust once, but my computer couldn't run it at the time - surprisingly, RAM was the problem (I only had 4GB at the time).

Chair looks nice too

I just wanted the best. Everything runs very smooth. I believe I have 32 gigs of ram.

Thank you!

The game is so tilting. You HAVE TO play it with friends in order to get anywhere.

I actually don't like the chair much. I love my desk. It's literally a kitchen table and it's exactly what I wanted.

GL at the interview!

So interview went well.

Anyways, rake on ignition is increasing by about 10%. I think I'm done for online poker basically. Tired of all the trends everywhere. I'll probably leave like $500 on there for 25nl when I'm bored, but yah. Not happy. I've found out that poker was actually stressing me out even more than I thought it was also. I've been much happier without playing poker all the time and I think I'm going to stick with it. Thread is basically going to transition into less frequent updates and lower stakes.

Don't blame ya man. I'm leaning towards the same way too, but we'll see. Maybe once I start having a relationship I'll give it up for good. See ya around man.

I think I love poker so much cause I play about 50 - 100 hands a day. I kinda study it too much though... I would go nuts if I was playing 2 - 10k hands a day like most of you do.

Gl to people trying to climb outta the micros on Ignition now. A real shame the state of the online game today tbh.
