Information about me: Hi, my name is Mason and I'm currently 21 years old living in Iowa. I am in my senior year of college attending Iowa State University and getting my bachelors in Materials Engineering with a minor in Bioengineering. I plan on graduating this upcoming May in 2015 and getting into the real world. I have a girlfriend who I've been with for over 4 years.
I love poker and have played poker since I was about 15 playing home games with my brother (7 years older than me) and his friends. After playing in real life I quickly learned about online poker and played 100k+ hands for play chips on Absolute Poker reaching the 10 mil play chip count and reaching the "hall of fame". At the time I thought it was quite the achievement, lol. Since then I've been playing for real money online since I was about 17 completely recreationally. I lost several hundred dollars due to Black Friday on absolute poker, but in November of 2013 I deposited $100 onto Bovada with the goal of playing seriously and with the goal of being able to play 50nl profitably by the end of 2014. I started at 5nl and have moved up the stakes gradually. I've essentially reached my goal, but due to a massive downswing am currently playing 25nl and likely taking shots at 50nl soon.
The goal I have in mind is to be able to play 100nl profitably by the end of 2015. I also have other goals, such as trying live poker at a casino. I'll be watching videos, doing poker sweats, HH reviews, and posting on 2+2 often in order to become a better poker player.
Here are my graphs at the individual stakes I've played throughout this year (5nl, 10nl, 25nl, 50nl). Not all my hands are in here, but about 99% of them are. Unfortunately I'm over 40 buy ins under EV throughout the year, but looking to run above EV in 2015, haha.
5nl
10nl
25nl
50nl
Looking forward to keeping track of my progress and improving as a player through the next year. All constructive criticism, advice, and support is encouraged!
Thanks!
